The most common is Lithium Orotate, but he makes a strong case for and recommends Lithium Aspartate as a more bioavailable form of Lithium, which is what is contained in Lithitate. These are also 5mg capsules which makes it much easier to get to the dosing sizes that he discusses in his book.

I know that there’s no 100% proven way to prevent cognitive decline with aging, but after reading the book “The Promise of Lithium”, I now believe there is plenty of good, scientific evidence to justify taking low-dose lithium every day. I want to do whatever I can to protect my brain and cognitive abilities that I need every day for my work and my life. Been taking Lithitate for a few months now. Didn’t feel any different after using

I have been using lithium for years but switched to Lithitate because it is the only NSF Certified lithium product on the market. As a health care provider I understand that all the other lithium products are not NSF certified and may not work as well so why bother? That is why I will only take lithitate!
