I heard of Govee a long time ago when they were just getting started. They made a tv backlight that had a camera on it that would make the led light strip installed on the back of the tv mirror the colors shown on the tv itself ( like the Phillips tvs back in the day that did this but never really took off).I have that on my tvs at home and they are fantastic. Especially for movies and gamesBut Govee is now bigger than ever and becoming a juggernaut in the lighting industry.So this wall light set was something I had my eye on and I snagged it on sale. it's turned out to be one of my favorite purchases from the Govee brand.The lights install very easy and they give you all the hardware to install a variety of ways. If you want to hard mount these into your wall permanently with screws and anchors, they include that in this kit.They also include a removable 3M double sided tape solution that's also great if you choose that route.The app for these lights is again, incredible. It has scenes a plenty, a color wheel for every color imaginable, and plenty of other "scenes" from seasonal to parties to mood and so on.They blink, fade, dance, pulse, heartbeat, and so much more. I can't possibly all the modes these lights offer in the app but I doubt I'll ever use them all.. not for the lack of trying.They will sync to sound as well, any sound, or just music.But one feature I love the most is they work WITH the tv backlight I have from Govee as well.The app sees both the tv led backlight and these. If you tell it to in the app, the lights will sync to your Govee Tv LED backlight and mirror the colors from your tv.So in my living room I have these installed behind the couch, and the tv led is of course behind the TV.So you can imagine the only lights in the room are from the TV in front of you, and these behind you.. your video game or movie just hit a WHOLE other level of immersion as it makes you feel as if your almost in the movie itself.A really, really great feature and I've had a lot of jaws hit the floor from friends who are over and see it all in action.I can't recommend these enough, along with other Govee products. Govee took on that other multicolored light brand (Goliath) who charges WAY too much for the same product. And in my experience (I've used that brand too) Govee just mopa the floor with them.The app is amazing. The fact that the different light packages they offer can work together in harmony for an incredible experience is really what wins the day here. That, and the fact they do it for far less cost.. and you feel like you just get far more bang for your buck here.But these lights are amazing and I'm going to order 2 more sets for other rooms tvs as well.Check out the tv backlight they sell as well if you get these (and you should.. these lights are fantastic) but they hit an even higher level when paired with the tv led backlight.And other lights govee makes work with them as well so you can deck your house or room out with a setup that's all syncd up and it's totally awesome.Once you get a Govee light you'll never want anything else. They are just amazing and at a price point that's impossible to beat for the quality and performance.

Wanted to add a little something to my entry staircase without spending fortune. Great value for the money, easy to put together, app is simple to use. Lots of great lighting choices and the colors are vibrant.

Great product, this light creates an extraordinary atmosphere in the room, the light can be adjusted however you want, it has a timer and many other functions that will make use more comfortable, I recommend it

Very bright with a lot of color options. App works well. They are a bit large so they will stick off the wall. Good value and easy to install. My kids think its fun to use during movie night.

As someone who has 5 sets of the previous gen Wall Scones (the black round ones) there are some definite pros and cons. This is my comparison.Pros:• Although the old black ones worked perfectly for my color scheme I understand why the new ones are white and I don't mind that.• The colors are beautiful. I have probably 50 smart bulbs, strips, etc. Unfortunately I've always loved Govee products but their colors can tend to be faded. And forget trying to get a nice gold or orange color. HOWEVER, these are a game changer as far as colors. Super bright and amazingly saturated. They definitely upped their game on that.• Square shape: If you're putting these on a floor they're much better than the old ones. The old ones have a slanted bottom so they don't really sit flush easily. These are flat and definitely easier to use in that regard.• Adjustable cord length - this may be a pro for you - but it's also a con (see below).Cons:• Setup (not talking about to the Govee app, that was incredibly fast and easy) - these are a b**ch to connect to each other. The mounting plate is separate from the light itself. But the cords go through the mounting plate which is honestly super annoying. You need to connect one cord to the the light from the plate, and then from the plate to another light. It adds to me excess and wasted time to setup and I'd honestly I might return them just for that. But this is a one time thing so I'll try not to complain. I understand why they did it but it's a hassle.• White LEDs - unfortunately this is where the previous generation was much better. The warmest white is more of a red white and not very natural looking. The previous gen had no problem with the different white tones. However I'm sure you could go to color mode and create some sort of yellow color to achieve a warm white since they make up for it with the super flexible colors.• Adjustable cord length - some may find this a pro, but this is a major con for me. The cords come up coiled for each light. So you have to unwind the cord no matter how close or far apart you want the lights to be. Which means, if you want these lights to be equal distance from each other - guess what, prepare to get a measuring tape and lots of trial and error. I much rather Govee do a standard size like the previous gen (which was 10x easier to setup) than this. And separately create an accessories pack that you can purchase separately with different size connection cords if you needed them.• Not necessarily a con but these guys are pretty big. Definitely bigger than the previous gen. They pack a punch, so again not something I can complain about.It really depends on what your desired use for these are. At the end of the day the old ones work with my scheme and are so much easier to setup. I do prefer them all together. So I just bought a few more sets before they're gone forever lol. The new ones I prefer the color and shape.P.S. Photo attached shows the previous gen's "warm white" and the new one's "warm white" for comparison.

I'm already a user of several Govee products - and other smart home devices. Govee devices are amazing and the app is easy to use. These lights are for a TV room and can be adjusted in brightness/color as needed. All the tools and needed equipment are included for an easy install. Be sure to read the installation instructions, measure accordingly before installing as to avoid mistakes. It took me a few minutes to fully understand what the brief instructions were stating - but once I understood them it was almost effortless to get these in place
