How did I manage without this?
What a marvellous tool. For stripping domestic cabling for putting plugs on it makes the job so quickFirst pull takes the white shielding off, then each L/N/NE internal cable gets the same treatment. Waste gets ejected out the back.Cables ready in under a minute.When doing the inner cables, I suggest stripping more than you think/need as it struggles to remove very short lengths. So if you get it wrong, you have to use another tool if you want only a couple MM - but if you know that and do the longer strip up front with a trim of the wires after If needed, it’s superb.An absolutely fantastic tool.

This is one of the best wire stripper's I've used. Much better than the knipex it replaced.I did research before buying them and they're as good as the YouTube review.

Thought was ok- but not worth the trouble
Feels a bit viscous for stripping sheaths off flat cables. Strips cable and sheaths ok, but no better than cheaper models for the standard house wiring. Perhaps if you are using specialist cabling then these may outperform cheaper models.Update after installation job. Proving difficult to get reliable service. Keeps mocking the inner sheath and wasting cable.No good on 2.5mm round marine cable. Really struggles with the sheath. Found a trick was to half cut first, then rotate by 90degree and recut.Flat twin and earth - have to be precise on placing cable in centre of cutter otherwise it catches and strips inner sheath.Think I will get a set of standard automatic cutters to finish the job.
