GREAT mini projector
I've tried three different ones this week and the boom 3 was my favorite. The things you need to know that were important to me - this is the best for the money out there! It has the best sound of all and it has a great picture. If a lamp or two were on in the room, it was still "OK" . It is best if in a dark room, but some light was still ok. We did have a 40" tv still set up - in the room - and compared to it (brightness being a 10 - the projector was about a 6 in brightness. It was still way better than the 300 lumens projectors I had tried. This one was the easiest to use, and has great auto correct features (meaning it is able to see the size of the screen and angles and automatically adjust to it. Those feature, however, didn't work if the projector is too far to one side or at too much of an angle. We tried to position it on a night stand next to a king sized bed with a 100" screen 15' away and it would not "automatically find and fit the screen" but I could "zoom" to make it smaller and fit the screen and then adjust the angles manually to get it perfect - but it wouldn't remember it for the next night of TV watching. Since it had to be done manually at this side angle, I decided it was a NO GO - because i didn't want to take the 3or 4 minutes to get it set up every night. Also, another negative, is it needed a firestick in the HDMI port to get more important apps like peacock and hulu. It had tons of apps, but not the three we used. Another negative, for me, is now I have to use 2 remotes - one for the projector set up, then one for the firestick (not to mention the blue tooth sound bar (3rd remote for volume) but that one at least was "remembered" by the projector and would connect each time automatically. Overall, it was a great projector - heavy duty - bigger than I expected (8.5" square and about 7" tall.) Definitely well built and worth every penny!

Best Projector By Far!
I have been in the market trying to find the right projector that was good quality, easy to use, and a good size. This projector covers that and more. It is very easy to use and it has an auto-focus so you don’t ever have to adjust it manually, it does it for you. I love that it already has the preloaded app of Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube. The picture is very clear which is awesome. We used it on a wall and the picture looked so clear. It comes with a remote and the volume is pretty loud that we didn’t have to use a speaker to hear it. The shape of the projector itself is square and it has a fun vintage look to it which I love. Overall, this projector is amazing and I’m so happy I found it. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!!

Excellent Customer Support!
Sure, it's a fantastic projector with great sound (remarkable, given the size), and a clear, crisp image. Yeah, the kids love it. Yes, it's super convenient that it can run YouTUbe, Netflix and Amazon Prime directly from the machine. Of course it's been a game changer for our homeschooling and my ability to teach all the kids together. Naturally we love our projector. But what happens when there's trouble? When the projector you've loved suddenly doesn't work anymore cold turkey? Well, you can do nothing for awhile and feel bummed that the luxury is lost like I did, or you can skip to the part where I decided to be smart and go to their website for customer support. We made a little video showing how it wouldn't turn on anymore, along with our receipts. They responded quickly and were friendly, and they immediately shipped out a replacement. We didn't have to hassle with a repair shop or even ship the broken projector back in. Now we're watching our documentaries on the big screen again, and it's been lovely! This is an excellent company that stands by their product.

Looks Like a Heavy Hitter, Swings Like a Middleweight
Were excited about this AURZEN BOOM 3 based on the hype and recently markdown price, and to be real, it does look like something special right out the gate. That gold finish is sleek and modern, and it feels solid—not cheap or plasticky. Setup was smooth, and I’ll give it props for having Netflix and Prime Video already built in, which is rare without needing a dongle. That part felt premium. But once I spent a couple nights running it, the cracks started to show a little.First up, the picture is decent, but not quite the sharp “4K supported” flex they advertise. Native 1080p, yeah, but I could tell the difference when I tried pushing 4K content—it’s more like it accepts the signal, not that it shows it in 4K. Auto-focus and keystone are a nice touch, but they don’t always lock in perfectly. Sometimes I’d get this weird blur in one corner of the screen unless I manually messed with the angle. Not a deal-breaker, but definitely not plug-and-play simple if you’re picky about picture quality. The speakers, while loud and bassy, can get muddy when you’re pushing volume past mid-level. I was watching an action flick and noticed the dialogue started getting swallowed up by the sound effects. For background music or casual watching? Fine. But if you care about clear audio separation, you’ll start noticing the flaws. I ended up pairing it with a Bluetooth soundbar after a couple nights because it just wasn’t hitting clean across all content.Connectivity is solid—I’ll give it that. The dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 didn’t glitch out once, even outside on the deck. But for something that touts outdoor use, I expected better brightness. Those 500 ANSI lumens struggle once the sun starts dipping but hasn’t fully set. You really gotta wait for full dark to get that pop in the picture. I’ve seen cheaper models actually hold up better under ambient lighting. So yeah, it’s not terrible, its a good investment—it just ain’t as polished as the marketing makes it out to be. It feels like it’s sitting between budget and premium but trying to pretend it’s top-tier. For folks who just want a casual weekend projector and its portability to carry around, it might hit the mark. But if you’re looking for theater vibes without compromise, this one might leave you halfway impressed and halfway reaching for the return window.
