PCI Express M.2 NGFF PCI-E SSD to PCIe 3.0 x4 Host Adapter Card with Heatsink Cooler- Support M.2 PCIe (NVMe or AHCI) Type 2280, 2260, 2242

It works quite well, but some better installation instructions would have been nice for people who are new to M.2 SSDs.I thought it wasn't working, because the SSD's weren't showing, and the SSD's seemed to have a pretty rough entrance. Turns out, I had to push the SSDs in while they were diagonal to the plug, then push the outer side down. It took me a lot of frustration and I figured that out by pure luck.Other than that, it works great. It comes with really tiny screws but they had the nice gesture of including a screwdriver for them! I really appreciate it, some brands could learn from this. Installing the heatsink was easier than I was expecting, because all screws were perfectly aligned. (Something that doesn't seem to be common in my history of purchases for computer parts)

This adapter card does work and works well, however, no 5 stars because the heat sink film pulls away from the SSD when you screw on the heat sink...screw holes are not properly alligned for the heat sink film to stay in place!!!

This doesn't really work, you are better off buying individual heatsinks to place on the chips with either good sticky thermal pad or thermal glue for heatsinks. Why might you ask?M.2 SSDs are very thin, and they will bend slightly inward once they are slotted in the PCIE adapter and the heatsink is affixed. The results?The thermal pad only comes into contact with about half of the chips on your M.2 drive. If you bought this, look yourself - it is likely you'll only see a few of the chips in contact with the pad, and there will be 1-2mm of open space between the rest of them.

Product works great and I get over 3.5 gb sequential reads and full performance from the pcie name m2 drives I add with these cards. This allowed me to add several additional very high speed 3d flash 1TB drives in addition to the one attached to the motherboard with no performance degradation.

Worked great to recover data off a friend's laptop that only had an NVME disk. Was able to pull that disk, install in the card, and install the card in a Razer Core and recover over the thunderbolt interface.

Works great for my Samsung 960 Pro...keeps it nice and cool. The materials look and feel like they're very high quality. As another reviewer noted, it would have been nice to have some clearer instructions included on how to mount the heatsink, but it wasn't too difficult to figure out. I ended up purchasing a 2nd one, too.
