I usually don't get in the habit of writing reviews, but I wanted to express my gratitude about this product.I ordered a few of these switches to begin working on my "smart home"; I also ordered a few smart switches from Leviton. Let me tell you: the Leviton switches are a little superior to these switches (I guess you get what you pay for). Installation was about the same for both, but the Leviton switches came with more documentation and instructions and paperwork; and everything looked professional. The green LED light (when the switches are "off") is a little annoying at night in the dark, but it's something I can live with. They were paired thru wifi in the app within a few minutes and I was ready to rock and roll. The app looks very upscale and user-friendly.These Gresatek switches, on the other hand were not as sophisticated. The app and "instructions" are poorly translated English versions of something that was clearly originally written in Chinese or Korean. App is decent; pairing was fairly straightforward, but it did take a little while longer to pair these switches.Alexa was able to recognize the switches, after enabling the ewelink skill, and I can control them by voice. I love them!

The "ewelink" app is unusable -- attached is an example of what the login screen looks like, and what happens when you attempt to login."Tab" does not move you from one field to the next, you have to click, so off-screen text/buttons are unavailable. (no; the windows don't move around)On the plus side, the hardware works, at least turning on/off the lights, but can't set it up so who knows if it is G.H. or Alexa compatible.

It simply works.It says it all, it's simple to install, configure and use it. It works well with Amazon Echo. I have not tried any additional config such as timer etc,because that's not what I bought this for.I got 2 of them to test because I was a bit skeptical with the low price - They arrived yesterday, and within less than 30 minutes I had both installed and working. Now we will see if it works consistently and if it lasts... It's too soon to say but I was excited with how well it worked and wanted to share a feedback. I will downgrade my rate in case it starts showing problems,NOTICE: As it says in the documentation, you need a neutral wire in your switch, which is not necessarily always the case - so check before you buy it to avoid any frustration. Also, as far as i know this is true for all this devices (you need power for them, therefore you need a neutral), so if you don't have a neutral in your switch box, find a device that is battery operated.

The switches are quite bulky and even installing them in a new box it was a tight fit. I couldn't get a wire down the wall for a neutral connection as it is an outside cement block wall. Fortunately these were meant for my pool light and outlets in the pool enclosure so I put together a new outdoor rated weatherproof box to mount them in and wired them in parallel to the inside switches directly off the pool breaker box outside where I had access to the neutral connection on the GFCI breaker. I know some people have used the ground wire instead of actual neutral but I didn't feel good about that especially for a GFCI circuit. The WiFi connected easily and setup was a breeze. For Alexa I found using the Blackstone skill worked best as the eWeLink Smart Home Fan skill reported an error and couldn't report the current status.

This is a great smart switch as long as it is for a single post application (as described). The instructions were easy to follow and YouTube has additional videos if you need help. Setup with eWelink was very quick and it works great with Alexa.I also tested the switch when I was away from home using a home wifi camera. That also worked very well using eWelink or Alexa to control the switch.I have now installed 5 of these in the house ranging from multi light fixtures to ceiling fans. I was able to set up the switch with a 3 way, but all other switches were then useless. The wife didn't like that so I will have to buy smart lights for those...

Not such a problem getting everything wired up. Was really fast.The above review is for the first switch I ordered. I was happy was I ordered a second. I don’t know if this is the company’s doing or Amazon. But the product I received was USED! I don’t like paying full price for a used item. I expect a new one each time! How I know this item was used I received an extra wad of wires! The screws in the bottom of the switch was all stripped out. I am unable to get this item to pair with my WiFi. So I am sure this was the reason for the return in the first place. So thank you Amazon for dropping the ball! I expect more out of this company as a prime member.

Worked great for a couple years, then slowly started to crap out. First, it stopped wanting to connect to the internet, no biggie, it's a kitchen light. I bought it roughly because I'm always forgetting to turn off the kitchen light... Guess I'll revert back to just manual operation! Then the switch wouldnt work 100%...sometime ya had to tap pretty hard to get it to work, and as of today... It no longer works... Tap it hard and the light just flickers but does not stay on. Guess I'm moving to a motion sensor switch instead!

I have been looking for a remote switch to replace an existing one hidden behind a free standing cabinet. I was somewhat skeptical, but for the price I figured I'd try. The wiring was simple, despite how large the unit is, and while it took a bit to fit the wires for all four lights and switch back into the wall, it is well worth it. Simple set up, easy to control. Very happy!
