This is a fast external SSD. Plug and play into Mac, iPad and iPhone. Excellent.

It is an excellent thunderbolt SSD. BlackMagic Disk Speed Test shows 2195 MB/s Write and 2380.6 MB/s Read. I am using it for my iMac 2017 (27 inches), which is blazing fast now.Overall, I am very happy with the quality and performance of the SABRENT 1TB Rocket Nano XTRM External SSD (SB-XTMN-1TB).

For the little cost difference this little unit is superb. I can easily fill half machine’s memory with photos and localised music and some apps so it makes way more sense to use the sped of the thunderbolt path to access this. And the speed and convenience is amazing.

I bought one of these 4-5 years ago and it is still going strong. It gets warm, but never too hot. This new one comes with a removable silicon cover and is said to have performance improvements too. All going well after a week's use

Using the thunderbolt port on my mac mini M4 pro I am getting very fast read (about 2800MB/s) and write (about 2600MB/s) speeds. It doesn't get hot. Only 4 stars because I can't say how robust it will be as the months go on, but it seems well built. Expensive for 2 TB SSD storage, and if you don't need those speeds and just need it for backup or documents etc, then get a USBC drive for less, but if you are doing extensive 4k or even 8k video editing then it will do the job well.

I thought for a long time whether to pay the extra for thunderbolt speeds and I’m so glad I did. I use this as a second boot drive on my Intel Mac and it boots faster than my internal SSD

t is highly compatible with Mac computers. On my Mac Mini M4 with 16GB RAM, it offers faster read and write speeds than the internal disk.Its tiny size doesn't cause any inconvenience at all.It works perfectly with Thunderbird.I highly recommend it to everyone.

The media could not be loaded. Excellent build quality and finish, from packing to product. Really fast writing and reading rates. It really packs a punch.Im able to edit photos and 4k footage straight from this drive, like if it was stored on my laptop.Be aware that for it's size and power, it will heat up a little, so I would avoid leaving it in a concealed space or close to hot surfaces.I'll give updates about performance over the time.
