Excellent Value
I buy these for when I don't want to run Ethernet and they are easy to install and very reliable.

Seamless right out of the box
Came ready to plug and play right out of the box. I’m using with an EERO 6+ mesh system. Connected an EERO in my shop 200’ from the main EERO router. Seamless!

Game changer
I purchased a cheaper alternative to this a year ago to establish a connection to a remote camera and a gate with smart controls. This cheaper option gave me headache after headache. After getting this, setup was a breeze. Literally just plugged in on both sides, aimed the devices at eachother and they connected. I didn’t even clear the trees. My devices are about 500ft away from eachother and I haven’t had 1 issue since installing.I didn’t even clear purchase an access point to setup by my gate nd camera though. These devices only have 1 Ethernet output on them and as far as I know do not broadcast a signal from the far end for wireless devices to connect to. But simple enough I just put an access point at the far end plugged into this device and works perfectly.

Easy setup and works great
Installation took right on an hour, setup was immediate. Very much plug and play. Running at 400mbps with a 1gbps feed so I'd say the device is maxed out at a distance of 1500 feet in my installation. Do remember the Fresnel effect when setting up your system. Super important. My stations are 25' off the ground and LOS without any trees or buildings. Just to test I lowered the units to 15 feet and the speed dropped off to 100 mbps. Back up to 25' they go. Also these worked well in the rain with no drop out.

returning for replacement
I have had two ubiquity systems over the years, and both worked flawlessly. This system worked for a day and a half, spanning only 200 feet, and then quit. I spent hours running every troubleshoot possible, and they would not connect again, even 2 feet apart. My other complaint is that it is MUCH slower than advertised. I have returned it and will be receiving a replacement. I will edit my review after installing the replacement. This has been a lot of trouble and a lot of roof climbing to deal with an item that should've been bulletproof.

Ubiquity is awesome for home users
This device is just fantastic. It eliminates my cable that I was using cat6 or betterIt gives me the ability to access my ISP which is fiber and it gives me the ability to not have to have wires buried or running along the ground which I had previouslyI had a cable break and it was buried under the ground and I would have to pull it back through the conduit in order to replace itThis was easy to do. Easy to set up. It's range is fantastic. It's I can't say enough great things about this

A few notes on the security
TLDR:. These are configured with weak network securityHaving them preconfigured is a time saver, but it has its associated risk. They all ship with the same username and password. Sure, the chances of someone having a nanostation and wanting to snoop on you is extremely unlikely, but not zero. These broadcast an additional management wireless channel you can connect to like a regular wireless router. This is for configuring and managing the device, and it shuts off 8 hours after you first power it on. So to connect it needs power cycling (flip a breaker or after a power outage). Once you connect you are on the same lans you are bridging. Install malicious firmware, tunnel ports, run local DOS attacks. Snoop on traffic. Pivot to other network devices. Game over. With a randomly generated password s all these risks could be mitigated. At least warn users to set new passwords. I suspect the seller has paired a set themselves, and then simply cloned the config files for every other pair they sell. It’s a quick way to make some fast money.
