This has to be one of the best if not the best books that explains Tourette Syndrome and its related conditions. I personally love that it is written in easy-to-understand language and though it is chocked full of great info without being overwhelming.I have been reading many books on TS and this stands out as a favorite.

i am so grateful for sue conners. this book touches on all aspects of tourette syndrome from basic overall information,the disorders that are associated with tourette syndrome,suggestions for parents and teachers. since toureete syndrome manifests differently in each individual, there is no cookie-cutter solution to certain scenarios that may develop. she gives examples at the end of the book of creative ways to handle different symptoms of tourettes. i highly recommend this book to anyone wanting more knowledge about this disorder and i have used and will continue to do so for help with my 14 year old son.

As a parent of a special needs child recently diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome and Obsessive Compulsive Behaviors, this book was a HUGE HUGE HELP! I started reading this book andbi could not put it down. I found myself saying, "Oh my goodness! I've been trying to say this for SO LONG!" and "Right! That's totally my son!" and "That's why he does that? It all makes sense now!!!"

It is a great book but mainly for teachers. About 1/2 the book is for teachers, I was hoping more would be geared toward parents since I homeschool my children. But for public schoolers this is a great resource to be sure your child has the best possible experience in school.

As a parent of two children that have Tourette Syndrome and OCD, this book is definitely a must have. I would buy copies for every teacher they have from here on out if I thought they would read it.

useful and concise. Helpful for anyone with a newly diagnosed child, and for anyone realising that they have had tourettes all their lives but never understood the condition in it's entirety.

Fantast book well worth the read

A brilliant book .

This book is brilliant if you have day to day issues with people with tourettes. I found it extremely useful in explaining all about tourettes and the different tics that it can create.

Highly recommended if you're trying to get an understanding and don't know where to start.
