The 4060 Ti: Nvidia’s Unwanted Stepchild... But At Least It Doesn’t Act Out in Public
I bought this card a little over a year ago—back when my fascination with AI was just taking hold and my hardware budget was... let’s say “aspirational.” At the time, I didn’t think much of it. It was the cheapest entry into the 40-series club, and buying it felt less like an upgrade and more like choosing to eat plain toast for dinner. Again.Fast-forward a year and several neural networks later, and I had a revelation:This goofy little card—this reject of a GPU—had somehow been the most functional piece of Nvidia-made silicon I’ve owned. And not because it’s good. Oh no. Let’s not confuse reliability with performance. The 4060 Ti is basically Nvidia’s version of that one cousin nobody invites to weddings anymore. You know the one—always late, probably unemployed, smells vaguely of burnt toast. But here’s the thing: when push comes to shove, that cousin shows up. He might forget to wear pants, but he still lifts the damn couch when you need to move.Meanwhile, the 5070 Ti? That’s the golden child turned delinquent. All the promise, all the hype... and then it torched my workflow like a bored Greek god. NaN errors, driver meltdowns, Python compatibility that made me question my will to live. Three days of debugging later, I was staring into the abyss and whispering “maybe it’s me.”It wasn’t me.It was the 5070 Ti.That card gaslit me harder than my freshman-year group project.I yanked it and reinstalled a 3090 that I bought because I REFUSE to pay $4500+ for a 5090 that has a self immolation complex; and guess what? The old card booted right up. I’ve since installed the 4060ti in a home AI server, and, whaddaya know? It works, no driver issues, no bursting into flames, no smell of melting plastic, no command line hell.It just runs my code—and keeps its mouth shut. Not because it’s a miracle worker—but because, bless its heart, it at least knows how to do its job.So yes, it’s underwhelming. Yes, the 8GB VRAM is a joke. Yes, PCIe lanes are missing like it owes child support. But you know what?It works. And in Nvidia’s current “AI-hardware-but-make-it-trauma” era, that counts for something.

Great Card for the price
A great card that produces fantastic output for a reasonable price. As much as I would love a top end 4080 or 4090, the difference between a $2000 Video card and this $350 one is so minimal to even most gamers that you will not be able to detect them. I'm able to run every game in my Steam Library at 4k 60+ fps Max settings. This card sits nicely at the current value point for most gamers.

Fantastic GPU! Fast and Smooth.
I've used this GPU in the past and decided to purchase one. The Seller shipped it very fast and it was brand new. Perfect condition. Thank you Lord Jesus... The only issue as most people might have mentioned is the price. I paid $479 + tax = $522. Ideally $100 dollars less would have been Perfect but no complains here. I rather pay a little extra for the 3 fans (Very Low Noise. Smooth) and quite fast. There are faster models but the next one is $829ish but thats outside of my budget.I did not purchase it for games but work and it does what it needs to and does it well.

For people wanting to do Ai Image Generation!!
So I make Ai Art and I was using a rtx 3050 8gb and it was alright but pretty slow, so I wanted an upgrade and yeah I couldve saved a a little more money up and got a card with large memory bus width but this card is sufficient for what I need. I have Fooocus, Stable Diffusion and ComfyUi as well as Kohya for Lora Training installed. It runs all of them very nicely. With Flux not great but If you use the Nf4 dev it will work probably about 2:00-3:00 minute per image but it does work. For SDXL its proabably around 15 seconds for a 30 step image and 30 ish for a 60 step image. On Kohya For a 1600 step lora would take about 15hours to complete on the 3050 and on this 4060ti 16gb it takes 1 hour for 1600 step lora. Hopefully this helps someone. Also sorry about the dust on the glass panel I have a German Shepherd lol.

Good choice
A little expensive, but personally i'm happy with this GPU. I can run elden ring on high settings with max fps (60), without any stuttering. Easy to install, and no sagging. The upgrade from my former gtx 1060 3gb to this was huge.I had some problems when i tried enabling ray tracing. There would be a lot of keyboard input delay, but I am not sure if this is something with the gpu, software or some of my other components.

Super Graphics Card
I purchased this graphs card for a new computer build, I9 14900K on an ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Formula ATX Gaming Motherboard. I am not a gamer but do write computer code and at times to a lot of video work, so I needed a powerful graphics card.I did not want to spend thousands of dollars on a graphics card as other cards above the RTX 4060 Ti cost considerably more, so I went with the 4060 and am very happy I did. The 4060 is connected to a 55" Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen. 4K UHD 165Hz Curved Gaming Screen running at 120Hz both the card and monitor are working together perfectly.
