These replacement bump caps are a perfect fit for the Speed Feed 400 spool feeder. Durability wise, it depends on what type of ground surface it is being bumped on. Concrete eats it away faster than turf of course so regular inspections of the this bump cap is recommended. It's cheaper and easier to replace this bump cap than buying a new Speed Feed.

Fits SRM-225 perfectly
I am weed whacking regularly at vineyard/venue and wear these out pretty quickly. When the bump feed gets iffy, I know it’s time to replace the wear cap. These match the original exactly and work perfectly.
