This book has proven to be a blessing in my life. The author has written a series of vignettes offering effective insights into living life as a child of God in this present world. He uses common military terms as the springboard for expressing these very practical insights. Although I have never served in the armed forces, the truths offered here have provided on-target, intelligent, beneficial observations into my current circumstances. The Holy Spirit has used these practical observations to remind me of disciplines and motivations and of the bigness of God’s interaction in my daily life.
