These things should last many many years. It started tripping the GFCI after only a couple months, causing my basement to flood. After troubleshooting the GFCI won't even stay on. Tried other cfci outlets in the house using extension cords. It's the pump.Trying to contact the manufacturer to see if they'll replace it. If they do I'll give a better review. Maybe I just got a faulty unit.

This pump strikes a balance between functionality and affordability, making it a solid choice for homeowners who need reliability without paying a premium for a big brand name. While it may not match the ultra-high-end models in terms of longevity or extreme conditions, it offers great value for routine residential use. For the price, it’s hard to beat this level of performance and practicality.

I stuck this little guy down in my... sump pump hole and turned it on after plugging it in and off it went. What a beautiful thing it is! It's been running, not constantly, but pretty close to because we've got some flooding right now and it just keeps going.
