Epson EB-1780W Ultra Portable 3LCD Widescreen Business Projector, White

Just got this today and I'm so impressed with it! Haven't tried it in ambient lighting but for the money it's fantastic. Sound is absolutely rubbish but expected that, definitely needs good sound system. Really is worth the money.

Amazon managed to "loose" the first projector that was shipped. Hence the 4*. Second projector was shipped and arrived in 2 days FOC.The projector is brilliant, it is used for presentations in various locations so the weight of the item was important. As it is not known how bright a room we will be presenting in, a powerful projector is needed, this one is 3000 lumens and is excellent even in a really bright room.The setup is easy and logical. Setting it to Eco mode extends bulb life to 10 000 hours !! and reduces the fan noise considerably.An excellent projector for the price.

It's a reasonable bit of kit for a portable projector. Plenty bright enough to use in daylight, and reasonably light to carry in a backpack with laptop, leads, speaker etc.The autokeystone is brilliant, and the gesture function works well once you get the hang of it.However - you WILL need to have physical connection leads with you if you're doing even a basic powerpoint presentation, as the signal between a laptop and the projector drops on a ridiculously frequent basis, making it unuseable as a wireless solution.The Epson app for phone connection is also as reliable as a chocolate fireguard, so you'll need a connector for that too.As others have said, the speakers are a bit of a 'Epson, why did you even bother?'. Honestly, they'd have been better putting bluetooth functionality into the device instead.Overall, it's OK as a basic and bright projector, but be prepared to carry all the extra leads as well as decent speakers.

brilliant compact projector which packs a punch. Fantastic in light rooms (which is why i purchased this). The Bluetooth functionality is very handy if there is no room for your laptop to be close by. Also being able to project from your phone . Very happy so far. I would have given this 5 stars if it had decent speakers installed. You will definitely need a soundbar.
