Spigen Slim Armor Pro [Hinge Protection] Case Compatible with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 5G - Black

It's a lot of money for a phone case but £60 beats paying hundreds more for a new screen or £1600 for a new phone... some comments say this is no better than cheap cases but that's entirely incorrect. The fit is perfect, yes this comes in two parts but as does every case for this phone due to its build. I had a cheap case and the front section kept slipping off. This case however has small sticky pads surrounding the inside of the front section to ensure a right and secure fit. I've had to take it off to place a new spigen screen protector on and trust me it was a challenge to get off. And what's even better, rhey give you extra sticky pads for the times you need to remove the case. They has thought of it all. The texture is a soft rubber, enough for grip so that it won't slide out of your hand but not so much that it feels too soft. The case itself is fantastic, it is worth every penny and it looks so slick and smart when it's on the phone.Only thing is, where can I get more of the sticky pads to replace the originals/spares for those times you have to remove the case!?

Finding a decent case for any of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold family is going to be difficult due to the design.This is not a cheap case and you could buy 5 other cases here on Amazon for the money, however I wouldn't waste your money trying different brand's and then suffering the frustration of poor quality and bad fit.This is hands down the highest quality case you can buy for your Zold 5.It offers excellent protection as it is very sturdy provides satisfying grip with a comfortable rubber feel.If I do unfortunately damage this case due to dropping it and it needs to be replaced, I will be ordering this case again without hesitation.Fantastic case in every aspect.

Phone case isn't too thick and is perfect for the fold 5. It’s durable and looks very promising. The case feels high quality. Packaging looked a little beaten up though but I dont mind as the product was in good condition. The hinge protector looks nice and has a good look to the phone. Case may be a little pricey but it looks like its worth to buy rather than a cheap case.

Brilliant case. Fits well looks amazing. Feels good in the hand, good grip. Hinge cover works well. The only problem with this case is when it is exposed to high temperatures. I've had three of these cases now and the previous two experienced exactly the same problem after exposure to strong sunlight & temperature the matt outer coating of the case peeled off. My advice is if your using it in hot weather keep the case covered or in a pocket. Still the best case available tried some other cheaper cases & fit not as good.

After five months, discovered two serious defects, one of which caused damage to my device.Firstly, the matte coating started to peel in one corner and then became progressively worse as time went on.Secondly and more importantly, I noticed one day a protruding spring component on the inside of the hinge mechanism that was directly touching and scratching my device.When raised with Spidgen Customer service, there response was:"the damage appears to have been caused by external factors, which led the protruding spring to directly touch and scratch the device, rather than it being a manufacturing defect."I.e. their intention was only push all responsibility onto the user.To avoid doubt, when you look closely at the issue with the spring, it is to me, a clear design/manufacturing fault.There are three other springs on the hinge to compare against and you can see that the plastic holding the spring in place is only a fraction of a millimetre wide. Once this plastic eventually fails, as did with one of mine, the sharp hook of the spring touches the hinge of the phone, and then starts to gouge at it every time you open and close the device.In summary, do not buy, very disappointing experience!

ive dropped it twice, and had the phone with this case for 5 months. this imo is the only case for the fold 5. it protects the hinge and they have designed it to be used with the spigen screen protector sold separately for the fold 5. almost every other case with hinge protection puts a horrible built in screen protector to the front panel which always every single time collects dust and lint under the screen, making you always have dirt. i hate that. ive had this and the spigen glass protector for fold 5 all this time and so far its going very well. case is solid, not damaged in any way, keeping the phone safe, and it has no gaps at all, so the inner fold screen never gets dust or particles / dirt when putting it into a bag or a pocket. great case, please keep these in circulation. also thank you for the extra colours.

This case looks great. Full hinge protection, excellent raised edges and looks very cool with the Spigen mag ring (fully functional) and the Spigen lens protectors.I had this case on the Fold 4 and now the 5 folds flat it looks way less bulky.However, at £90 it is just too expensive. No need for this Spigen. I get it's an expensive phone but other manufacturers sell this style of case for £30-50.Despite this it is highly recommended. You won't find a better looking, fully protective case and believe me I've looked.Ps. If you buy a magnetic ring, make sure you line it up as central as possible otherwise only wireless charging will work, not magsafe chargers.

Worked well, bit bulky. The case broke after just over a year. Part of the hinge broke off and slammed against the frame of the phone, causing a deep groove on the exterior near the hinge. Now I am stuck with a non-functional case with a sharp metal wire poking up from inside and a damaged frame on my phone.Thought a "armor pro" case would last longer than a year and a bit.
