I just got into soap making recently and have used this to make two batches of soap now, and I'll say that it works like a charm! Providing two types of cutters (straight edge and the wavy) is very nice as I don't have to buy those separate for additional costs, when this costs about as much as other molds that I've found online. The silicone is very flexible and sturdy to make removing the soap from the mold very easy.When empty, the middle part of the sides of the silicone part may bend in a little, but this does not affect the soap as the soap batter will basically push it against the wooden casing. Figure I'd state this just in case anyone has any doubts about it :>.

This was the perfecr kit to get into soap making. It was very easy to use, now we want to get another kit so we can experiment and make more at the same time.

I've been making melt-and-pour soaps to give as gifts for several years now. I bought a set like this when I started and still have it. But I needed additional molds and cutters this year so I could teach friends how to make soap. The molds work extremely well. I get ten 1-inch-thick bars from each mold. The silicone maintains its shape well even after repeatedly peeling it off and turning it inside out to release the soap within. Of the cutters, I especially like the corrugated one. It slices through soap like butter, and it adds an appealing texture to each bar. The straight cutter is a little more blunt, but still useful. I use it to measure and score my soap before cutting it.

I’ve made many batches with this mold and it’s still holding up. I was worried it may start tearing but not yet. The cutters work. Would recommend.
