I have been looking for a product for my beard .This is the best that I have found great product!

This works very well! A very small amount can hold down the frays all day long. Buy this!!!!

I've bought this product in stores for quite some time. It was white in color, held well, dried matte, never flaked, and was soft and easy to work into a mustache. It didn't smell the greatest, but no other product held a handlebar as well as this paste does.That being said, I noticed the same product was here on Amazon and decided to order it out of convenience. To my surprise, the canniser was the same in every way, but the paste was entirely different. It's gray, runny in consistency, and scented. It doesn't dry as quickly while working with it, and it flakes worse than almost every other product I've tried. What's the deal with this massive formula shift? Why isn't it called out more explicitly?I will no longer be buying this product without being able to open it to confirm the color and consistency first. Such a disappointment.

I gave 3 stars because this seems more like something you would use in your hair. Unless you have an exceptionally LONG beard, it doesn't make sense to me. It is very sticky and when I put it in my beard (mind you I've been growing it for 4 years now) my skin was all sticky and it just didn't feel nice. I prefer some beard butter to moisturize and nourish.

As another reviewer mentioned, it seems like they have changed this product. The old one was white and the new one is gray. However, I looked at the ingredient list of both the white and the gray and they were exactly the same. The white was unparalleled in its hold and was great at taming 'wild' hairs. It was a little bit hard to work into your beard, but the effort was worth it. Some people have complained about the smell, but it was very neutral and mild to me.I noticed, when buying the old kind at the store that sometimes when checking the container it was all dried out. I imagine that is why they changed to the new gray type.The new gray is a much 'thinner' product that has an ok hold. They also added an internal cover that I assume helps the product not to dry out. I probably would continue to buy it, but the smell is strong, a cloying scent of roses. I strongly dislike it, but my wife hates it. I would give the original white a 4.5/5. The gray 2/5.
