Wow! A little different, but Wow!
Ok This is a modern version of a traditional Japanese style knife, made in China. I waited a few months before writing a review to see if I liked the knife. I am not a fan of front flippers; blade is flat grind sheepsfoot (reverse tanto) and it's kind of angular overall. That said...Knife is absolutely beautiful. Fit and finish excellent, Botton lock is smooth as silk (forget those spinner things), the front flipper is perfect, it feels good in the hand, and it is a nice dress knife. I have kept it sharp on a white ceramic stone. I own hundreds of knives (it's a sickness), For $50 this is a great buy!

Horrible Lock
Everything about this knife seems well done. However the lock is absolutely garbage. I have other button locks from Sencut that can handle a spine whack with moderate force. The Trivisa couldn’t handle the lightest tap while holding it pinched between two fingers. It is getting sent back. Save your money and fingers!

Fidgit heaven
Crazy sharp. Crazy fun. I know a button lock, or any lock, is sacrilege on a higonogami style knife, but totally worth it!! Nice clip. Comfy handle. Fidgit all day.

It's growing on me
I purchased a utility knife for work a few weeks ago and it's already crapped out much to my surprise! So, I looked around and stumbled upon this one. I wanted a push button knife that was compact, affordable and not "cheap". I took a chance on this and at first wasn't too impressed. As the days wore on I slowly became really impressed with this knife. It fits nice in my large hands, I forget it's in my pocket, the action is really smooth and the blade came stupid sharp out of the box! I recommend this knife to anyone! Give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Also for $50 you really can't go wrong. Buy a knife for $20 and you'll be returning it indefinitely. I hope this review helps with your decision.

Japanese style knife.
This is an attractive Japanese style knife that is obviously g and carefully designed. The steel is great, and of high quality. I think maybe the execution of the design is a little clunky, as the knife doesn't open as smoothly as one would expect. But still, this is a really good knife. There is room for adjustment. It comes nicely packaged for gift giving, which this was, to my son. He really loves it.

Handles covered in oil
The micarta scales came stained with oil, took knife apart to clean them and now I can't get the knife back together because the button lock keeps popping out. There's better knives to spend your money on.
