Burns like the devil, but works really well
These are single use packages of tincture of benzoin, handy to have in first aid kits. My one exposure to this product was when I applied steri-strips to a deep cut. It wasn't deep enough to go for stitches, but I wanted to keep the edges of it pulled together so it could heal without a lot of scarring.I applied the tincture to the injury (after cleaning and drying it), held the edges of the wound together and then applied the steri-strips. The tincture made a barrier against germs, kept the steri-strip firmly in place, and fell off on its own after a few days. It burned quite a bit for the first 20 seconds after I applied it, but then I didn't notice it anymore.Be sure to cover the tincture and wound with a bandage - this tincture isn't a replacement for a bandage.

Very strong adhesive
This is the best adhesive for steri strips, I once went to the er for a fairly deep cut through my finger (It wasn't entirely necessary, I only went to get my nail bed numbed since it went through my fingernail) and they used this adhesive. Will last for 3-4 days so be sure to use a secondary wrap to keep the area clean.

Good to have around when you need to stick a bandaid
Good to have around when you are trying to use butterfly closures or even a standard bandaid if you have the tendency to perspire a bit. This stuff makes the adhesive adhere better to your skin resulting in a better placed bandage that wont go sliding around. The come in little 'ampules' that you take out of the cardboard sleeve press on it until the blister inside snaps and the swab is soaked with the contents. Then just rub it around the area you want to administer the stuff to like using a cotton swab. They are small single use swabs (well you get quite a bit of solution in each one but once its popped use it then toss) that take up little to no space in a first aid kit at all.

Goes in my first aid kit for hiking.
Good addition for a first aid kit. Secures end of tape on blisters in boots and stays. Goes in my first aid kit for hiking.

Great product, need more available
I use these in my office often for procedures. They’re out of stock and staying that way.

Great size for first aid kits
I use this to apply medical-grade steri-strips to cuts to close them without needing stitches, although for deep cutsI have gone for the stitches. These little ampules are easy to pack in the first aid kit in the car or in my little traveling first aid kit. I haven't had to use the steri-strips very often, and the last bottle of the tincture I had I used so rarely it dried out.

You need this for your BOB
If you have steri-strips then you need this without a doubt. This will make the steri-strips adhere to skin much better than the adhesive used in the steri-strips. Well worth your money. Better to be prepared than be in need without emergency medical equipment. You never know when an emergency will arise so why take the chance?

Not cheap, but good for the rare times you need them.
Not cheap but if you rarely use TOB, such as for blister dressing prep (hopefully you pre-treated and avoided the blister to begin with), these are good to have. I used to buy a big bottle, the smallest I could find, and then pour it off into smaller bottles, which inevitably leaked or dried out in my blister/first aid kit. So this is more elegant and probably equally expensive solution.
