Jack of all - A challenge to setup
You can do a lot with this. I really wanted a repeater that could be wired (to maintain full bandwidth) without the bulk of a typical router. This fits the bill. It is compact and can be tucked away.Setup on the other hand is a bit cumbersome. There are so many settings it can be overwhelming since there isn't any real built-in tooltips or help. The documentation is minimal. I am quite proficient in configuring networks and this took me over an hour to get up and running (after several resets, etc). The size and featureset make this a great wireless bridge/repeater/router/ap.

Great little bridge / repeater.
After having my mirrored NAS (Network Attached Storage / HD) fall of the shelf, I decided that I need to move one of my NAS drives elsewhere, however it is not wireless. This is the perfect solution for thisIt arrived and I was surprised how small it was. It's smaller then a deck of cards. I plugged it into a USB power source, hooked onto the new WIFI that just showed up and pulled up my web browser. Following the Wizard, I was able to set it up as a BRIDGE. There are Repeater+Bridge, as well as HOTSPOT settings. As soon as I selected this, it rebooted and the Vonets WIFI SID vanished. The BRIDGE hooked to my TP/Link 5G WIFI Router without any difficulty.I disconnected the Vonets BRIDGE from the power source I was using. I then plugged the USB power + Ethernet cable to the back of my NAS block (my NAS is powering it). After about 90 seconds, I was able to access my NAS! I can now relocate it to elsewhere in my house. I did notice that the NAS had a very bright green light on it, but it shouldn't be a big deal.It was very easy to configure. I fear to reconfigure it, I would have to reset it to factory defaults via the RESET button. Hopefully I won't have to do that any time soon. This is great for any device that has an Ethernet connection but is not wireless, such as printer, older PC, game system, security camera or, like me, a NAS. You can also plug a network switch/hub into it and attach many devices to it.
