ACTUALLY WORKS WORTH EVERY PENNY
I didn't want to pay so much for one of these but after paying £120 for a different one and sending it back as it was useless, I bought it and it is so easy to use and it actually works I've used it on 2 different vehicles there's nothing more depressing than when a engine management light comes on and you have to decide which thieving garage to take it to, now I take it to myself and at least I will know the problem

Really impressive piece of kit
I got this as a replacement for a soon to be obsolete Snap On scanner. I think this Artidiag900 Lite is a great piece of kit for the cost. It has features that are normally only found on the top tier VCIs. The comprehensive list of technical service bulletins taken from the original vehicle manufacturers is extremely handy, and has already provided some information that prevented me from making a repair using a part that had been superceeded. The fault code library is also very helpful. Not only does it give descriptions of what fault codes mean, it also details the most common causes of the faults and the order in which components should be checked based on their probability of being the cause of the fault. The built in warning lights lookup not only gives descriptions of what the warning lights mean, but it also explains how the systems work, what symptoms you may experience if the light is lit, and what effects it may have on you or the operation of the vehicle. This is one of the most useful features of this tool, as it accurately describes each of the systems in such a way that makes it easy to understand how they work. Like any diagnosis, you need to know how something works before you can undertake proper repairs. If like me you work on a large selection of vehicles from various manufacturers, you will know that the location of the OBD plug can sometimes be a bit of a mystery. The Artidiag900 Lite gets around this issue by providing a specific section highlighting the location of OBD plugs in virtually every vehicle. It uses pictures to show exact locations, which again is a time saving feature normally only found on more top end devices. For me the most useful feature of this scanner is its bluetooth capability. Most VCIs come with short cables that restrict your ability to fully test components on your own. For example if I need to feel a relay, actuator or component to see if reacts to the bi-directional control requests, I am able to do this without having to rely on someone else or listen for the clicks of components. You can hold the scanner in one hand* and feel the component with the other. * If I was to highlight something that I wasn't particularly keen on, it would be the angle of the hand grips on the rear of the device. A more square profile would make single handed operation more comfortable.Scanning vehicles is also a simple task. The Topdon intuitive and quick. It also is one of the few scanners that will detect every single module that a vehicle could be or is fitted with, and if the vehicle is fitted with a module the Topdon will communicate with it. Yes the Artidiag900 Lite isn't the top model, so in some cases it will only read and clear codes within certain modules, but this is still more than some more expensive scanners will do.I think that this scanner is an example of how things should go when it comes to VCIs. Not only is it a tool for diagnosing faults, but it's a learning tool that can teach amateurs (and even some of the pros) the basics about systems, fault diagnosis and diagnostic processes. As far as scan tools go, this is definitely one of the better ones at this price point. In fairness with the features found on it I would expect it to be priced higher than it actually is. The eight special functions are the most common, such as DPF resets/regenerations, BMS resets (adding new stop/start batteries) or bleeding ABS systems. Again all features that could allow an amateur or enthusiast to enact complete repairs without having to farm the job out.Already the Artidiag900 Lite has proven to be a worthwhile investment. The live data graphs (with overlay), or PID lists that can be easily adjusted to view only the data you want to view make diagnosing faults a lot easier. This scanner will do a lot more than other similarly marketed VCIs. It's hard to ignore it at this price point considering it's comprehensive vehicle coverage, technical databases and general diagnostic/bi-directional features.

Waste of time and money.
Utterly useless, cannot do what it says and takes about a week to confirm that the hardware is so slow. This thing has cost me money in lost time so don't don't even consider buying.Ive spent the last 1.5 hrs trying to get a VW through a dpf regeneration cycle it it will not work, this has lost me that time that I cannot charge for.

Easy to use, works quickly for most vehicles in my experience.
Used mostly to reset a single fault code (VW 00317:014 Rear Lid Control Module - Faulty) preventing use of my electronic boot, replacing the part mechanically was estimated to cost three times what this did and even my mechanic told me to just get something like this to reset it myself as it would just happen again.I've since used it on three other vehicles and while my main vehicle seems to take forever to communicate with this and originally tainted my happiness with the product, the others have done so very quickly to the point it initially confused me until I realised, my car is just a pain.I wish I could have bought a cheaper one (many are not compatible with my vehicle) but it's worked flawlessly since I bought it so I'm happy with my purchase.

Game Changer
I wanted to share my experience with the Artidiag 900 Lite. I recently got it for my Audi, and honestly, it's been a game-changer for me.Firstly, let me tell you about its diagnostic capabilities. It's pretty impressive; it can scan every module in my car, from the engine to the air conditioning system. This has been super helpful for getting accurate info about my car's ECU and sorting out any issues with ease. Now, about the upgrades in the 2023 version, they're noticeable. The faster CPU and upgraded battery ensure everything runs smoothly. Plus, the Android 11.0 platform and 8-inch touchscreen make using it feel like a breeze. And I have to mention the bidirectional control feature; it's been a real time-saver when it comes to diagnosing problems quickly. One thing I really love about this tool is the wireless Bluetooth setup. Being able to diagnose my Audi without dealing with cables has made the whole process much more convenient.Specifically, I had a clogged DPF issue, and this tool handled it like a champ. The support for DPF regeneration, along with other resets like Oil Resets and ABS Bleeding, has been a lifesaver.Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase. It's reliable, easy to use, and has saved me both time and money on car maintenance. If you're in the market for a diagnostic tool, I'd definitely recommend giving the Artidiag 900 Lite a shot. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
