I really wanted to like this.
I really wanted this rollator/transport chair to work well. If it had, it would be a Godsend. Unfortunately, that was not the case.To be fair, it came partially assembled and finishing it only took about 15 minutes without any tools or too much cursing. Instruction book was about what you expect for what now passes as instructions. As a rollator it was adequate. But the minute we tried to use it as a transport chair it was a big no go. As others have mentioned, there is a tendency to tip forward, veer to one side, and was impossible to push even on a level concrete (garage) floor. To be fair, I am not a lightweight, but the chair was rated for 300 lbs. and I am under that weight. Even so, my wife could barely budge the chair with me in it. And when she did I was almost a%% over teakettle. We switched positions (she is far lighter) and I could barely move her in a straight line. She lasted about 15 seconds before jumping out and accusing me of trying to kill her. Seriously - it's that bad.I'm a candidate for knee surgery in November but like to stay active so this looked like a great solution. It ain't. And it wouldn't surprise me to read about a class action lawsuit once someone gets seriously injured.C'mon Elkener, stop being deceitful and greedy. Either tell your potential customers that this will not work for anyone over, say, 175 lbs. Or, better still, make a combination rollator/transport chairs that actually works the way you claim it does.Oh, and in case you were wondering, I returned it.

Great walker but not a well designed wheelchair
This company was very responsive to my emails regarding the wheelchair malfunction my dad experienced. The walker works very well for my dad, but the wheelchair didn't work for his weight. The design of the wheelchair is flawed due to the weight of my dad (230 pds.) and the inability to place his weight in the appropriate part of the wheelchair. Instead of having majority of his weight on the back (larger) wheels, he was sitting more on top of the smaller wheels located in the front of the wheelchair. This caused the wheelchairs small wheels to lock up and not move when pushed. They refunded us part of the money and told us to keep the chair for the walker. Thank you for making this work for my dad, even if just for the walker.

Decent product but can't get replacement parts
We bought this product to go to Britain in April/May. I have MS and use a rollator for short distances and a scooter for long treks. We thought this product would be better than trying to transport two walking aids. When it arrived, it came in good packaging and it was easy to assemble. It is heavier than my rollator, so my husband is the one who gets it in and out of the car. We have a Chevy Equinox so we have plenty of room for it.It does fold up small but to get it to stay as small as possible, we use small bungies as you can see in the picture. It is very easy to fold and unfold and to convert it from a rollator to a transport wheelchair and vice versa. Although the bag it comes with holds plenty, I didn't use it on the trip because it's just one more rather large thing to take on an off going through the airport. The part that says it holds a cane wasn't helpful because it gets in the way of the pedals when the device is used as a rollator. My husband again used bungees to come up with this arrangement (see pic) for my trekking poles. As others state, it doesn't maneuver as easy as my rollator, but it was easy enough for me to adjust given that we were only using it for the trip. It also doesn't turn on a dime when you're pushing it, but again, the benefit of having the one product (instead of two) certainly made up for that. When you come to a curb, it is much easier to go over backwards when in the wheelchair mode.We gave it a real workout through airports, trains & stations, in and out of a rental car, up and down the hills of Edinburgh, and over cobblestones in the historic areas. It's not easy to push up and down hills when it's raining on cobbles, but it wouldn't be easy to push any wheelchair under those circumstances.I am 5' 5", weigh 125lbs. and did not find the ride to be too uncomfortable. Others say they had trouble with their butts hanging out the back. This was not an issue for me.What was an issue was that shortly after we arrived in England, the foot pedals kept falling down when I wasn't using them. More bungees. Our biggest issue was when one of the front black screws fell out while going over bumps (see pic). My husband was able to temporarily fix it with another screw from the back of the wheelchair, but we were continually making sure both sides were screwed in after we went a short distance. And they frequently needed tightening. When we got home, we contacted Elenker to ask how to get replacement parts, but they haven't responded for over a month. We put threadlock on the screws to stop them from loosening up, but that hasn't gotten tested yet.Overall, we like the product as it works for us. We will be taking it on a cruise to Italy and Greece. It would be nice if Elenker saw this review and told us how to get parts. I will update this review if they do.

Easy as apple pie to put together!
This is a well thought out device. Assembly was simple and required no tools other then a pair of scissors and a pair of clippers. At 6'8" tall I wasn't having much luck finding a rollator that was tall enough for me, this one is! It is light weight and easy to get in and out of my SUV. This is a great product!

NOT SAFE!!!!
BUYER BE AWARE!! Don't purchase this walker. While pushing my mother the chair would throw her forward. Luckily I had help or she would have been on the ground. This product was definitely not made correctly or safely!!
