Amazing for practice
This drum pad is perfect for beginners as it can introduce them to rudiments and feeling the sticks bouncing against the surface of the drums. The sticks that come with it are also very high quality and mine are still going strong despite being used on a real kit since April. Overall it's a great high quality product that is perfect for newbies.

Not solid wood as advertised.
The marketing blurb (including a photo supposedly showing the board without the rubber pad) says the base it’s made of solid maple wood.In reality it’s some sort of mdf fibre board.Still does the job but this kind of false advertising deserves docked stars.Drum sticks are basic but ok for little hands, basically a freebie thrown in so no complaints.Update: couple of weeks after purchase I noticed that the sticks are warping and are not straight.
