I’m 6’2, 190 and you won’t be disappointed!
The chair / cane itself???Perfect: 5/5i went for the like-new offer because it said the external shipping container had visible damage but the product was good or better.Yeah - the product itself was perfect, but no gel pad was included.RETURNED.But….I liked the chair / cane so much that i went back and bought two, one for my wife also.we’re retired, in our 60-70’s - in athletic shape, but i get tired of just standing… and we go to lots of venues where there waiting lines to enter. So i thought i’d try it.I’m 6’3 and 187 lbs - the seat fits me perfectly. It’s stable on level ground: just make sure you’re aware where the 3 legs are so you’ll know how to position your weight.Lowest stool position is like squatting height; highest position is almost like a regular stool height: you won’t be looking at people’s belly buttons. The used version didn’t work because of the missing part but these little stools are terrific. Not all that comfortable at all, mind you, but certainly comfortable enough to allow you to rest and actually relax without fear or toppling over. Also - unlike other cane-stools, this one presents a flat 360° profile so it really looks like a cane. People are mildly shocked, surprised and amused when you whip out a hidden chair from your “cane”.And the carrying bag - yeah - it’s great, but don’t be surprised if security at -any- venue wants to inspect it (obvious reasons)!Enjoy, it’s the best out there for what it offers and accomplishes.Five Stars.Fun.

Good solution for a problem
The Cain/Seat is compact and easy to handle. More stable than I expected. Good value for the money

Seating "insurance"
I am very happy with my new cane/seat. I took it to an airshow yesterday and it was good “insurance” for a long day of walking. I am 82 years-old and on meds so I don't have the same endurance as years ago. I bought this mainly for my half-hour daily walks with my dog.I admit I was a little disappointed when I first opened the package. I had a little difficulty figuring out Step 1, how to adjust the cane length. (The enclosed QR Code did not open an active video. My reason for subtracting one star.) This is most easily achieved by undoing the three clamps at the bottom, sliding the cane collar to the top and then slightly opening the tripod by pulling on the foot of the cane. This gives you access to the seven notches on the braces of the three tripod legs.It turns out the non-extended cane length (34.25 inches) is proper for my size. I am 6-feet tall and the proper height of a walking cane is to the wrist joint with the arm hanging down. The six extended notches are all higher and would be less than ideal. This cane height results in the highest seat height, 20.75 inches. This is 2.25” higher than the lowest seat height. For me, I do not find the 2.25” range of the seat height is critical. The powder coating finish of the cane appears to be high quality and should have good durability. I will probably seldom, if ever, use the seat cushion and carrying case.Assuming the mechanical mechanism of the cane holds up, I am a happy camper.

An excellent cane
I have found this cane quite as advertised. I bought it in time for a week-long sight-seeing trip in England. Despite not being that old, I have a bad hip, ankle and knee and knew I would not only a cane, but a portable seat. I have an antique one with the same kind of seat and I tried one of those ones with those leather slings for a seat, so I have a little experience in this area. I felt the sling-seat one is not well designed to take weight, so I was sure I wanted one where the seat is directly supported by the stick, and last year I finally found some!I looked at many of these before I settled on this one. They kept having just enough problems I wasn't satisfied, so even though this one didn't have any reviews at the time I figured I wasn't risking more with it than any other. And it was more than satisfactory! It is a little tall for me to sit on at the height where it works as a cane, but I acknowledgment that I am choosing not to take the time to adjust it down and I can still use it at a slight angle. I even at one point in my trip converted it to the stool form. Granted while I am overweight I am no where near the weight limit, but for me it performed exactly as claimed, no signs of strain when I rested on it. The handle is also very comfortable to use as a cane. It was invaluable on my trip and I would not have been able to handle the strain without this cane.As for the bag and seat cover: I keep losing the bag but it seems fine to me. I do not like the cover. I tried it once and decided to never use it as I am sure I was slipping off it. However, the point of this is the cane, the seat cover is an unnecessary extra so I am not holding it against the cane in my rating.Oh, and do look at the instructions. I couldn't figure out how to properly adjust it and was regretfully lower my rating when I remembered I hadn't looked at the instructions and found it simply explained in them.

Broke trying to open
The product is too fragile. Broke it when i tried to buy open. Probably my fault. I will eat the cost.

Nicely made works well but hand grip is to small for a man’s hands
Nicely made works well and is strong enough to sit on and use. However the width of the hand holds are to narrow for a man’s hand. When I use this to walk any distance my knuckles rub against the plastic and get sore. If only the opening was a little wider it would be a great product.

Functionality
I purchased two of these stool to take to the Masters Golf Tournament. As you can see by the date of this posting I have not yet arrived at Augusta and therefore I am unable to report as to my satisfaction. However, both stool arrived promptly, appear well made and very light weight. With respect to functionality you will have to wait till my return from the Masters. Sorry
