I actually use these cups over and over again to freeze ice that fit perfectly into my 40 oz Stanley’s. I take them out frozen and either let them sit for about 5 minutes or run them under warm water for a few seconds to release. One plop of one ice chunk formed by these cups and I’m not worrying about a freezing cold beverage all day. And yes that includes refilling the flask once or twice. So in a 24 hr period I might use 2 but that’s what it’s like keeping a cold beverage really cold, in Hawaii. The lids fit perfectly and I use them so I don’t spill water while putting these into the freezer. Yes, I’m clumsy. For a quick emergency cold ice chest I can throw a bunch into the cooler, (cups and all) and I don’t have to think twice about looking for clean cups for anyone to use. Also they’re great for freezing juice or crystal light in the freezer. Another great use for these are as attractive little buckets of party treats for kids. Add a bit of colorful Easter grass or stickers in with bite sized candy eggs or peeps. Very fun! My last best hack for these cups is I throw damp foods like left over canned corned beef or egg salad for sandwiches in the fridge. Covered, the food doesn’t emit odors and because they’re clear, I can reach for exactly what I want without hunting. Fresh salads to pack for lunch are super in these. Vegs stay fresh and crisp and don’t wilt because of the little vent on top. In other words, these cups are not only good for beverages but their great for food items. Not a cheap feel, as they were thicker than other plastic cups, they are great for on the go or at home, super easy and great fit and they made our drinks taste like we were at a restaurant! Functionality was great!

These cups work well, and the lids fit without any problems. The straw holes stick a bit, so I have found myself reaching for sturdier straws over more flimsy ones (I already had several different boxes of straws, so this wasn't an issue). Only caveat - If you tend to poor coffee directly into them hot so you can mix the sugar, THEN put the ice in, this is not the cup for you. It didn't happen every time, but on some of the cups that I did this with, the bottom warped pretty bad from the heat before I put in the ice , and I had to poor it in a different cup which was wasteful. I stopped making the coffee that way and make simple syrup instead of sugar, so it is no longer an issue. However, be aware that the cup is not thick enough to stand up to heat if you need it to. The cost for these cups is the least expensive per cup that I found, so I will still probably buy them again.

Love these cups. Just what we needed for our church function. Highly recommended.

We used these for a soda bar at our wedding. They were the perfect size. However, they do stick together. I found it easiest to stick your hand in the cup and squeeze the cup on top to loosen them up.
