Transcend SSD Drive
So far, so good. I have had low memory and storage space on my Dell. It helped free up some additional space. I haven't moved all of the files yet. (Life gets in the way). I'm happy with it.

Super-fast OS loader
Expensive overkill if you're just using it for data or photo storage. It's really designed for use as an external SSD, like for loading and running an OS from a USB port.I installed MX Linux on it. Boots laptop in 10 or 12 seconds off USB 3 port.Several reviewers have mentioned it runs hot. Tip: The unit has two USB plugs (3 and C), one at each end. Take the plastic cap off the unused USB plug when in use. This will allow the exposed metal USB plug to act as an air-cooled heat sink and help keep the temperature down.

Fast portable storage at a good price.
Excellent, fast, portable storage at a good price. It heats up a bit with intensive usage.I installed a Linux distro on it to boot notebooks with my personal environment.

Beware of using through a USB Hub
If you are connected through a USB 3.0 Hub and transferring large amounts of data, it can crash your system. I was transferring from my USB 3.0 HDD to the USB SSD, both are 2.0TB, when this kept happening. At first I thought it was a DELL laptop Or MS update, but it kept happening. Then I realized it might be the USB Hub, which is USB 3.0 compliant, causing a bottleneck. So, I swapped it with my USB HDD, which was connected to a port on my laptop. It copied a large amount of data without a crash. Then I copied smaller chunks of data, to be safe. It took most of the work day to do this, but the drive is working fine. I just wanted to put this out there for others who may experience the same issue and for people looking to buy this. Overall, I think the product will work well and there is a noticeable speed difference. I do a lot of math in my spreadsheets, which are also very large. So each spreadsheet ranges from 30MB to ~120MB. On a USB HDD, this is a very slow process. While I still have to wait on very large spreadsheets, the USB SSD is quicker, much in some cases, and therefore saves me some time. I have not tried transferring through the USB C connector yet. I am curious how well this will work for my phone.

Works
I'm not sure I saw the claimed 1,050MB/s except in short bursts but I regularly saw 1/3 to 2/3 of that speed which is way faster than my old flash drive. It does get warm if you keep reading/writing to it in long stretches.

Flexibility of 2 types of connectors
Excellent quality at a reasonable price. Very good read/write speed. Added bonus is the flexibility of Type C and Type A connectors so that it can be used directly on my iphone and also on my windows PC and smart TV to watch photos/videos. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
