Great for hide-a-key
This is great for a hide-a-key! Discreet, easy to use, and perfect size for a key! I have had to use it several times and the lock is secure and device is sturdy! Perfect for our home away from home!

I was hoping for a little sturdier.
I loved the price point on this product but I should have thought about what it meant for the quality of the item.The lock box is fairly thin plastic in material which I hadn't read or thought about. I was expecting thicker, sturdier plastic or even metal. Perhaps I just skipped over the material when ordering.The code is very easy to reset and worked first time.The item came well packaged in a cardboard box and the mounting hardware in a little plastic baggie. The instructions were clear and well written.Overall the item was what I needed and will do the trick for what I needed it for. I only wish it was metal not plastic.

Defective out of the box!
Complete piece of junk. Default code is all zeros (according to seller). But no matter how hard I pushed down on that little latch, it wouldn't open.... So I figured maybe I should just reset the code first. I unscrewed the back and... guess what? Only the top half of the back would open up for me. The bottom half was stuck in place. But there was just enough room there for me to access the reset button. I attempted to switch it from A to B (as instructed) but guess what? It was stuck!!!!! So basically this entire lockbox was just frozen in place in a locked position with no way to access it, open it, change it, mount it, nothing. Trash. I paid for trash.

Great for the price- need slight knowledge of screwing things in
You should know a bit about different type of key lock boxes- I had to learn the hard way a bit. Cheaper ones that are static in nature need to be screwed in. Where my issues like is that I don't know what surfaces I should avoid screwing things in, and if I ever wanted to move the box, then it would leave holes that I wouldn't know how to patch properly or would take more time than it's worth to create the problem for myself. For a key lock box that does not require screws, look into a portable key lock box.
