Decent price, but is the quality really that good?
While this was sold at a bargain price, I am unconvinced of its quality up until now.I tried using this on the low gain setting with a Røde NTG3 shotgun mic and even with the levels turned right up it hardly registers on the audio meter, even when speaking loudly into the mic, really close to my mouth.Basically has to be set to high gain, which of course increases hiss. OK, it allows you to use a phantom powered mic, with XLR, but this is not a professional quality pre-amp adapter....I guess you get what you pay for
