They are even and lightweight. Not incredibly sturdy, but they don’t need to be.I’ve used them to block two cowls—I was able to do a 24”x18” and a 12”x12” at the same time with this set.

I have been working with yarn for many years. This set would make a great starter kit for any beginner, or be a valuable addition to an established kit. It is well made and will get a lot of use.

These are very helpful for blocking.

They make blocking so much more efficient. I have been knitting for a very long time and have only just begun blocking instead of steaming. I will probably buy more pins and blocking combs.

I was so excited to get these as I have never had blocking combs before and the first one I pulled out was this uneven one with one other one that was also uneven but not nearly like this one. I have never used these before so maybe sometimes they come like this but I guess I didn't expect it.

These are a well-made set of blocking pins that are useful for blocking straight edges. The steel is stainless and so you needn't worry about them rusting under normal wet-blocking conditions. They are sharp of course, so I'm glad to see that the box they come in has some foam in the bottom to keep the pins organized and their sharp bits away from fingers when not in use.
