Jaeger 26pc TIGHTSPOT Ratcheting Wrench Master Set - Metric & Inch/SAE Combination Sizes

I rarely write reviews, so when I do, it’s because I’m truly impressed. These wrenches are very high quality. The ratchets are tight with a very low rotational degree per click. The simple design of just flipping the wrench over to change direction eliminates multiple points of failure. One slight negative is that to achieve this design, there is no angular offset (IE: The wrenches are straight/flat). This can make certain applications difficult. But they are great for the applications they are designed for. They are also long shank giving you more torque when dealing with stubborn fasteners. The range of sizes for their master sets are also impressive. And lastly, the roll up storage pouches are first class with a space for each wrench, a flap to keep them in place while transporting and even a zipper compartment for additional items. I 1000% recommend these tools and will buy more of Jaeger’s products.

I have been using these for a year and a month now. For the price, you really can't beat the quantity and quality. I wrench on things daily and these wrenches have not given me any issues. I really like the fact that it's a complete set and the warranty is amazing. "Lifetime warranty, no questions asked" is the best warranty a company can offer. In my several years of wrenching on things, I have found that a warranty such as this either means one of two things:1) The product is so cheaply made that the company can offer to replace them when they break with no impact to their finances.2) The product is so well made that the company doesn't have to offer replacements very often.I read several reviews of this set of wrenches along with several other competitors before I made my purchase and I can say that I am thoroughly impressed with the wrench set and happy with my purchase. These wrenches are a quality product and for an amazing price. I would recommend them to anyone and buy them again myself if I ever needed to.

At this moment I can only rate it 5 stars because it worked when I needed it, but with that said, I have only used it once. I go through periods where I work on my vehicle for weeks at a time, then once everything is good, I don't have a large use for these tools. I own a landscaping business, and at least half a dozen times a year I find myself in the thick of it, repairing either equipment for vehicles, but all other times these tools are chilling in their bag. This 10mm wrench I purchased cost me $4.99 and was purchased as a replacement for a 10mm ratcheting wrench that failed during one of my heavy use periods. Fortunately, I was almost done with the job when my wrench failed, so I only needed this for a few small wrap-up items. Time will tell whether or not the ratcheting mechanism will hold up, and honestly, I'm assuming that it will probably fail me within the period of a year, but that's what I get for $4.99. LOL! With that said, we spend more than that on a cup of coffee, so if I can get a good year out of this guy, I'll be happy!

I am thoroughly satisfied with these ratcheting wrenches. I was a bit skeptical at first because I am usually disappointed with Chinese-sourced tools (junk!!!), but the Jaegers are the exception. The "Tightspot" description is accurate as well. I have another set made by Craftsman (USA made), and they were too thick and the heads were too large.

Bought this June 2024 and it just now failed on me. The ratchet no longer locks so it spins freely and can't tighten or loosen anything now. I still give it 4 stars because it was under $10 and pretty much lasted me 1 year. If I have to pay $8-10 per year for a ratchet wrench that does the job I'm using it for, I don't think that's a bad deal. I was pretty rough with it. Buying a 2nd one to see if it lasts just as long or breaks sooner. If it breaks sooner than one year, I may lower the stars and try a different brand. We'll see.

This tiny lil wrench was exactly what I needed. I have a ratcheting wrench set, but they were too long for a job. I just needed a stubby wrench to get into a tight space. I was working on swapping out a side mirror on neighbors Explorer. This thing was perfect. I honestly wasn't expected the wrench to be as good as it is. Just as good as other name brand tools already in my box. Made the task a breeze. I'll probably buy the 12, 14, and 17 as well!

Seems durable; I've used the ratcheting side while working on my car's breaks a few times and wrenches hard with no increase in play. The tooth count is great for reasonably tight areas. I have brackets for my emergency break lines that only allow maybe a 1/8th rotation and it worked great for it.I am a happy owner!

My needs for this wrench are not very demanding, but I am very pleased with it. (I use it to help tune an Indian pakhawaj drum that uses metal tuning bolts rather than the traditional rawhide straps to tighten or loosen the drum heads. Since I installed the metal bolts myself, the drum did not come with a tuning wrench.)
