Simple and effective
Straightforward, clean grass fed whey protein. If ur looking for a very body-healthy protein, buy a couple of these. The taste is bland but it’s unflavored- what would anyone expect?

A Smooth Protein
Nutricost Grass Fed Whey Protein Isolate is an excellent product. When it says Unflavored, it means Unflavored. There is no taste at all. So blend it in with your favorite smoothie, for example. It is really a smooth powder and mixes very well. The ratio for me is one part whey protein isolate with four parts hemp hearts protein, plus whatever creative ingredients I wish to add. It always comes out really creamy with a very nice texture. I am trying to increase my muscle mass, so I guess it would be better if I used more whey and less hemp, but it WILL happen anyway; it will just take more time for that goal to be met since I am careful about not too much dairy (people's needs vary, of course). And the price is very fair. The only ingredients are whey protein and sunflower lecithin, and that is way cool!

Tasty for a protein powder
I like the taste, especially with almond or oat milk but I’ve even tried with plain water and it’s not bad. I use about 16oz cold unsweetened almond milk in a shaker bottle, mixes in well. Blends well into smoothies and makes them sweeter too. Good value, clean ingredients- would recommend to anyone who can have whey!

Sweet, but good. Watch serving size!
This is a great quality protein with clean ingredients that’s sweetened with stevia, as I prefer. I do think the chocolate variety is too sweet, though, so I mix it with the unflavored whey. One important note is that the scooper included Is not equal to the serving size; it really should say “very heaping” scoop. I always recommend weighing new protein powders with a kitchen scale to have a better idea of the serving sizes.

Taste is great and really good value for the money. Definitely would buy again. Mixes really well with ease too.

Good Value and Quality
I have been taking this protein 1-2scoops daily for the last 3 years you really can't beat the price for being a grass-fed whey isolate without low-quality added ingredients. It tastes as good as unflavored is going to taste and I usually add it to smoothies or cereal, helps me hit my protein intake goals.

So Far So Great! Smooth and Tasty
The media could not be loaded. I am a crazy researcher and this protein powder search was no exception. I didn’t like the grit of the Sprouts pea protein powder I tried and I loved Bob’s Red Mill whey concentrate but I was pretty sure it was contributing to my possible lactose-intolerance stomach issues. What I like about this isolate one:Even though there were some lumps the shaker way (vs blender), it was still tasty even if I chewed on a lump. And zero grit. And whey, I read, is supposedly better for bones than pea protein. And whey isolate (vs concentrate) is typically easier on the stomach for lactose intolerant folks. And this unflavored version has zero sucralose/stevia. And the lecithin in this one is sunflower vs soy lecithin. The sunflower lecithin (vs soy lecithin) might help lower bad (LDL) cholesterol, I read, and, I figured hey, why not go for it if I have the choice over soy, even though soy is low risk. Oh yeah…and the isolate form (vs concentrate form or pea protein) has more protein per gram of powder, at least as far as what I’ve read and seen. This isolate one ends up 30 g of protein in a 35 gram scoop. =.85g protein per gram of powder. 😀 The Sprouts vegan gave 20g protein in a 31 g scoop. =.64g protein per gram of powder.Did I just about cover all the factors?😆

Nutricost and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Whey
I think that, like many products on Amazon, this product gets high reviews based mainly on price, which is cheaper by the ounce (especially in the 5 lb. size) than many other grass fed whey isolates. Many people seem to equate cheap with good. The flavor manages to be both bland and unpleasantly artificial at the same time. It mixes well initially, then mysteriously clumps up afterwards. I've gone through many grass fed whey isolates in my own search for the "best" one. So far, this is at the very bottom of the list. Giving this away after using one scoop. Blech.
