I received this camera a few weeks back and have had an opportunity to use test it pretty well. The reason I purchased it was to do capture motorcycle rides, YouTube reviews and possibly a Vlog in the near future. I didn’t want to spend the money required to purchase a GoPro at this point so, in looking at some of the previous review, decided this might be an affordable substitute. The answer to that question is, for me, yes it meets my basic needs for recording but it does have a few drawbacks. The big thing to remember if you decided to purchase this camera, it’s not a GoPro. So, you’re not going to get that level of functionality. If you need to satisfy your requirements, you should probably cough up the extra money and buy one.The camera comes with a whole assortment of mounting type equipment. Some make sense, some don’t (at least not to me). For example, I really don’t know what I’d do with the Velcro straps. Although, I’m sure somebody out there understands its purpose. Something that was missing that I would have liked is a suction cup to use the camera while driving. The camera also comes with a case. The case is nice enough but, the pocket the top doesn’t properly secure the items you’ve stored there. They will fall out into the bottom storage area. That worried my since the camera doesn’t have any type of lens cover. SO, I store the camera in the waterproof case that’s included. A zippered pocket would have worked much better to secure the items on top.The camera does shoot in 4k but, that will reduce battery life to approximately 30 minutes. I found that recording in 1080p is just fine for me and will allow a battery to last almost 1.5 hours. On the subject of batteries, the camera will ship with 2 batteries. However, they must be installed in the camera in order to charge them. While not a deal breaker, I really wanted to have and external charger so I could also have a backup battery charging. I searched and could not find a charger that specified would work with these batteries but I did find one on Amazon that appeared to use the same type of batteries and its description listed numerous cameras it accommodate. It was only a few dollars and came with 3 more batteries so, I decided to give it a try. Worked great! The product is called a Vemico Action Camera battery and is sold on Amazon for just under $14 as of this review.One thing I found that intrigued me when considering this camera was the option to control the recording process from an app installed on your phone or tablet. This would come in handy because many times when I’m filming, I can’t see the viewer. I was disappointed in this ability. I was using a Samsung tablet to monitor the recording session and it recording kept freezing. So, scratch that idea. Also, when you download your videos to the app, they aren’t stored in your Photos/Video are of the device. So, they can’t be viewed anywhere but that app. So, save yourself a headache and just use the SD Card to transfer the videos to a computer for your editing/sharing purposes.The camera will ship with a remote control that you can wear on your wrist. However, it only works sporadically. It may be a weak battery so, I’ll see about replacing it in a few days and will provide an update if that corrects the problem.One last thing that I found disappointing, even though the camera has a mini USB port, it won’t allow for an external camera connection.So, bottom line, I’ll use this for a while since it’s a great price for what it does accomplish but, I’ll probably look to upgrade sometime soon down the line.

I bought this product after looking at a few and their reviews. I bought it for a dual purpose, as a car dash cam and sport camera (when I ski/snowboard). I have had the camera for about 2 weeks now and have tried all of its features. I am using it presently as a dash cam in my car. I use the bike clamps along with the a casing that goes around the unit to clamp it behind my rear view mirror. The box also includes an adhesive round pad that can be mounted on your car's dashboard. I put a 64GB micro SD card and it works well. It recorded approximately 4 hours at 1080P 30FPS. Anything set to less would last longer. It has a 1080P 60FPS setting but I have not use it. I hooked it to my computer (windows 10) with no problems; it shows as a drive, click on it and you can see the videos/photos. The image is very good and clear. The wrist remote is a nice add on. You can turn on/off the video and take pictures. I am not sure how long the battery will last on it but you can always turn on/off all the features manually. The WEAKEST part I have found is the battery; it lasts about 1/2 hour but since 2 are included you can get 1hr. Also the manual has a very small print and it doesn't include how all the accessories can be used; you need to figure out that on your own. All accessories are included as is shown in the picture.

Wow compared to a go pro not much of a difference. This is my first camera that I actually like. It was so easy to set up. I have not taped while riding my motorcycle so that will be the big test. Great features for a small camera. Touch screen easy to cycle different modes.. It even has a slow motion mode.. It also comes with every type of mount you need. I will comment again and attach pictures once I get some good ones. They also emailed me and extended the warrant for a year. That's a plus in my book. So far GREAT COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. THANKS....I have taped a quality is good. I also received a cracked camera holder and company sent me a new one right away. They get 10 stars in my book.
