VERY EXPENSIVE AND TO BE HONEST BECAUSE I HAVE NO OPTION OF USING MY COFFEE MACHINE WITHOUT ONE I CAN'T REALLY COMPARE IT TO WATER WITHOUT. I ALSO NOTICE BLACK MOULD STILL BUILDS UP ON TOP OF IT IF THE UNIT IS NOT FULLY SUBMERGED ALL THE TIME. FOR EXAMPLE IF YOU FORGET TO TOP UP THE WATER LEVEL AND THEN 48 HOURS LATER CHECK IT WIPE , REFILL FEW TIMES.

Very simple installation as long as you read the steps carefully. I actually received mine with the small rubber seal detached and thought it was faulty, so do be aware that it may be lost in the packaging. Other than that, it does exactly what it needs to.
