Bought this for a small assisted living apartment for a elder who doesnt have a lot of space and likes to draw and eat in the living room. It worked out well. He loves this table. He raves about how good in looks and all the hidden space to put his colored pens, drawing pad and other items for drawing and still has enough space to keep some napkins and paper plates hidden in the table. Its sturdy and well made. A perfect gift or table for yourself that doesn't take up a lot of room and is perfect coffee table for the front room. Sylish and strudy. Easy to put together. The box is heavy when it comes & this table is well built.

I just downsized to a 5th wheel and wanted to save space. This table is the perfect solution! It took some time to assemble as one person but completely doable. Instructions are pictures only so it's essential to study the pics for each step otherwise you will run into issues. I was careful not to over tighten anything and made sure to keep the screws loose until all screws were partially in for each step. I don''t know if it would hold up to constant open/closing with kids but as a single adult who is careful, I see this lasting a long time. true to pic and I'm stoked.

My wife and I have been looking for some coffee tables for a while. I really wanted one of these so we could eat at the couch.The table was fairly easy to assemble and all the hardware was nicely organized in different and labeled baggies. Althoughsome alignment tinkering was needed so the mechanical parts wouldn't rub against each other, the end product is a nice looking coffee table that rises up into a dinning table height.The fact that it can also unfold and double the surface area is nice to have in case we ever have guests.I'd recommend double checking the final height of the table before you purchase cause it's rather tall.. (around chest height when we're sitting down on the couch, but not too big of a deal).Construction feels solid, no wiggling of parts. The only defect I found on mine was in the hinges of the tabletop itself. The pockets routed out to make the hinges flush with the tabletop once it's unfolded are slightly larger that the hinges themselves. Even though it doesn't bother me and it can easily be filled in, it might be a deal-breaker for others..4 out of 5.

This coffee table is quickly becoming a favorite with anyone who visits my home. It expands easily for game nights or dinner seating and matches my home perfectly. It's heavy and feels very sturdy. It was a little hard to assemble, but I think that's because it is HEAVY.

Had a little trouble putting it together, had to take the whole thing apart once I saw I had one of the boards turned the wrong way but overall it wasn’t a big deal to put together if you follow the directions. I like how the kit was made very precise (the one I got anyway), the screw holes all lined up pretty precisely and fit together well, again if you follow the directions. I assembled it by myself, the result is a good looking and very functional table. I’m very happy with my purchase!

I would have to say the gentleman, Moses, was the most helpful person I have ever had to deal with in terms of customer service. Not only were my questions answered, Moses stood by the product he was selling and said I would be just as pleased if not really much more happy with what the table could provide for me. We were switching around rooms in our house so that we could have a “family room’ for game nights, ping pong matches, board games and family movie night.The box said it somewhere near 70lbs so I imagined this huge box that we weren’t going to get in the house without unpacking it on our front deck. It was actually not an issue. The way the table was packaged used every inch of that box and if there were any open areas they were filled with packing which protected every nook and cranny of this piece.MY 10 YEAR OLD SON AND I unpacked the box and we made sure we had all of the pieces we should. I don’t know why more companies don’t do this… but each properly labeled bag of item necessary to putting this table together actually came as a plus one. So should you misplace a piece or should there be an error on the factory side you have one extra piece needed for construction.As we constructed our table there was one step that we couldn’t make sense of. I contacted Moses who had become my go to person for this review and I think it was a four day process of them trying to help me figure out where I went wrong. Best part? THEY DID. Who goes to such lengths to help you assemble something after you got it and technically there isn’t anything wrong with being “confused by the assembly instructions.” Most vendors would just have told me that “there is nothing wrong with it you just don’t get it” or “We’ll get management to give you a call this week” and I’m still waiting.How to fix this issue… I received permission from Moses to use his media to demonstrate proper assembly. If you look at his picture you will actually see that there is a proper way to put the metal hinges in. The picture shows that one side is longer and it hangs on a few inchesHis picture clears everything up.As a mother of a young child, I was ecstatic to find that the top of the table has rounded edges!!!! THANK YOU!!! The one hiccup of that is the first lift of the table allowing you to use the table for multiple reasons and having access to all of your stored material right where you’re working is amazing and I love every part of it but one. The Square shape of the small square table that rises on the first lift. So baby proofers keep an eye out. But this is what makes this table worth it.I wanted to address quickly, a review from someone had less of a high quality item. The hinges were an issue. For me, on my table, one of the first things I noticed was how nice it was that the hardware was so inset and not looking for an accidental sideswipe. I would say if you got a product from this company contact customer service. Ask for Moses and tell him Kristen sent you.We are able to use regular chairs around the table for game night or art projects we have done as a family. I bought this table because we needed one now that our house was switched and luckily I fell in the lap of this table. And this table is getting swapped out because I just want it in my working space.I would like to point something out quick as it is important to the integrity of this table. There is a wire mesh shelf under the table that is connected to each leg of the table all the way around. I only noticed this within the last few days, we have a different coffee table in our game room and it has a lift up top which is about 2/3rds of the table then the remaining 1/3 of the table is a sliding top. I had a completely empty table and I pushed the original table which had no second source of stability like the shelf, and the legs on one side are completely bent in… mind you an empty table… move about two feet, the two legs are useless now. I guess it’s not useless my kids like to play with matchbox cars. I will always look at possible discrepancies needed for stability.Cons of prosThe suction cup feet. Where have I been? I have never heard of anything like this and I want it as an option for all of my furniture in my house. With my crazy tween boys and a three year old daughter, I envision less injuries and damage.However, this would be perfect if I wasn’t using it on a carpeted area. If there were caps for the suction cups it would be a home run. I wish that I had this suction cup feature available on 95% of my furniture. I believe it could also be an additional safety measure from tipping over on an adult or a child (you should always secure your furniture properly from accidental tips and other injuries as suggested by the makers of your product. My opinion is no substitution for baby proofing your house)I don’t have cons yet but I will update if we run into anything

The product was great, the directions could be improved by adding top/bottom along with the left/right directions for assembly. The biggest improvement suggestion I would make would be to use banding on the box to provide a handhold. The product weighs about 80 pounds so the delivery and end user will be helped by stronger packaging. The product itself is sturdy and should last for years to come.
