Nice compact SUP buoyancy aid.
It's compact design and ability to wear on the waist make paddling on calm water a doddle as no bulky jacket to deal with and if its summer, you appreciate having less garments to wear.However I wouldn't necessarily use it in some situations where treading water or staying afloat long enough to inflate the buoyancy ring might be an issue, such as exploring coastal caves or coves where a sudden swell could put you in danger, the security of a vest type of PFD maybe more advantageous. Just something to consider. For me I have both types.
