LG SQC1 Bluetooth 2.1 Channel 160W Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer, remote and Optical connection - Black

Slim sound bar ,good sound and good value /quality. Easy to install.

I just fitted this and I have to say I am extremely happy with the sound from this unit. I bought this to replace a Bose Solo 5, primarily with my LG TV, but moving on also to use with my turntable and Teac amps, so I can shed the wireless speakers I use at present. The Bose was OK (for TV work), but the bass punch on this LG 2.1 system is something different again. I can actually feel the bass through the floor! At present I am using the optical cable, but will switch over to full bluetooth when I get a spare 5 minutes. The B.T. already works fine and paired to my phone instantly. It is currently blasting out Guns n Roses, You could be fine, albeit at a sedate level so as not to annoy my neighbours, but with plenty of growl from the subwoofer. If I have a criticism, its that the remote control instructions are conspicuous by their absence. I am quite tech wise and figured it all out. A lesser person may not. Come on LG, not everyone is a guru, would it really hurt to explain what the keys and modes do on the remote?

I wasn't sure what to expect as I hadn't had any Amazon reviews to go by. I read several internet reviews from various tech sites which said that that the system was a low to mid budget soundbar with subwoofer. I normally always listen to a system before buying. In this case, I was pleasantly surprised because the sound is good. The bass is great when listening to music and watching films. I thought that the upper end of the sound could have been a bit crisper, but we're talking about a mid range system.Overall, the more I use it and discover what it can do, the happier I've become. One great feature is the Bluetooth connectivity, whereby you can move the subwoofer around, as there are no wires, only the electrical plug which can go in any mains socket.At the end of the day it boils down to personal preference. The only reason I've not given it five stars is because of the high end sounds and that's personal preference.Finally, the delivery and service by Magicdiscounts was great and the got five stars.

This is the best thing we have brought for our LG TV as the TV sound had to be turned up really high to watch anything, now with the soundbar we have a nice clear sound which is no where as high as the TV sound was , this was so easy to set up it took only 5 minutes if that I would highly recommend this

There is no screen on the sound bar or that appears on the screen to know what volume level you are on or, more importantly, what level the bass/subwoofer is on. This means you have to keep adjusting for different channels and streaming platforms as it is either too loud or too much bass. Also doesn’t work with LG remote. Very poor

Because this was a LG sound bar thought it would go with my LG oled tv but can’t seem to alter the different settings that are in the tv it greys them out therefore only 3 stars.

Am so pleased with my product speedy delivery and brought at such a great price will definately be purchasing from here again
