I don't know why it is so hard to find an alarm clock that can be adjusted to be 1) not so bright and 2) not so loud. This does a great job on both. You can set it to be quite loud and/or quite bright, if that's your thing, but it isn't mine. I like to leave this baby on the lowest brightness setting--dim enough that you can't see it at all in the daytime, and just about the lowest alarm volume -- low enough that I thought it was coming from a different room down the hall the first time I used it. Most clocks do not offer this much adjustment and I love that about this. It doesn't buzz, tick, or hum, which is also a must for me.If I had a complaint, it would be that there are too many buttons that are too easy to accidentally press when simply moving the clock. Things like "time zone" should be recessed buttons so that you can only press it if you mean to. I also like that it allows dual alarm settings and each can be set for every day, M-F, or S/S, but I wouldn't mind if I could set an alarm for JUST Saturday or JUST Wednesday or something like that. Yes, that would likely complicate the interface, but it doesn't seem like it should be all that bad and would make this all that much more useful.If you have a reason not to use your phone as an alarm (which I acknowledge will do pretty much all the good things that this does and more), then this is my favorite just-an-alarm-clock option.

I really like all the options this little alarm clock has. It is easy to set up, has 5 different alarm tones to choose from, dimmer dial, USB charging port, 2 alarm settings, week day/weekend mode and easy to see.

This is a very nice clock!Pros:Clock face light can be turned down to totally pitch dark, which is where I keep it set for sleeping at night. If I wake up in the night, I turn it up the tiniest bit to see the time, then back to totally dark to go back to sleep.Volume control is great, can be turned down to zero and slowly raised to the very soft volume I need for the alarm. I am not one of those people who need to be rudely shocked awake in the mornings.These pros to me are the most important features, and why I chose this clock. I also like the blue lit numbers.Cons:Having an option to wake to radio. We don’t have any good stations in our little town, and anyway, I can’t imagine a worse way to wake up than to whatever the radio happens to be playing or whatever the DJ is going on about or whatever advertisement is running!The alarm sounds are not what I want to wake to except for the birdsong - not great but acceptable - which is the one I selected, turned down to a very soft low volume. Better wake up sounds would be great, like musically tuned windchimes, a Tibetan bowl, or ocean.It would be nice if the temperature and date was in the display, but not essential.For me, a significant downside of this clock is that it is not fully battery operated. There is battery backup in case of a power failure. But I don’t like a clock that sits on my nightstand near my head to be plugged into the wall. It’s extra EMFs I don’t need while I’m sleeping. Even if they are minor. To try and mitigate this I put an EMF attenuating sticker on the back of the clock. Because of this, my search for a battery-operated clock with features that this one has will continue.But this will do in the meantime.

After experiencing the alarm clock failure, Odokee reached out to me and offered a refund or replacememnt. I opted for a replacememnt, because I really like the clock; large numbers, rotary style dimmer, easy to set and use. I'm very pleased with the clock and Odokee customer service.This is what I experienced when I first purchased the clock in April 2025:Alarm clock broke at the same time the return window expired. For no reason ((just sitting on my night stand), the far right digit no longer dims. This requires having to turn the dimmer roller dial all the way up to the brightest setting to be able to read the time. Don't waste your money!

Just the ticket! Has everything I need in a digital clock and nothing I don't want . No gimmicky stuff. The display size is perfect and can be dimmed simply and easily. Unlike just about every other digital clock I've ever had, the controls and settings are intuitive and well placed. Especially like the day-of-the-week feature which I hadn't realized was included. Even the users manual is clear and well written. Pleasant surprise!

Love this clock. I’ve had it for 6 months now and haven’t had any of the issues that others have reported. (For the red display). It’s a life-saver…very dim so you don’t get hit with bright light all night and you can sleep better, and it has a nice, reasonable alarm that starts quiet and doesn’t shock you awake with an obnoxiously loud fight-or-flight noise that gives you a jolt of adrenaline.
