The Force Tamper Optional Tamper Base (RIPPLE, 53.50mm)

I bought this to continue using my 58mm The Force Tamper with a new 55mm lever espresso machine. It works perfectly! I’m also impressed with the quickness of the shipping from China. It was supposed to arrive in 2 weeks, but came in a few days instead. Highly recommended

This base provides a very nice option to the standard flat base. I've found the geometry presses extractions towards the center of the portafilter. While it varies by coffee, this base helps offset the natural tendency of outer circumference over extractions. anyway, the base is of the same quality of what came with the Force Tamper.

I am not sold this design does anything for the outcome of the coffee but it sure is fun to use. One thing to keep in mind is that the design is susceptible to coffee grounds getting stuck in the grooves of the design. So keep a brush on hand to occasionally brush off any ground that stick inside the grooves otherwise its great.

If you are serious about espresso and you make it this is big change for tamping and it's worth itThe force tamper its consistent punch pressure , and it leveling the coffe lead to good extractionAnd it's easy to adjust the weight pressure on the gasket you bond go wrong with it .And I give the seller100% positive for his service and reliability
