I’m changing my review completely from one star to 5 stars , my deepest apologies to the seller , I originally wrote it was a complete one star worthy failure, but one day I really went over the instructions, which is a must if you want flawless hookups and connecting , I got the car scanner app and I got the good paid version, not only does this work, it works very well with iOS , I have an iPhone 11 and an iPad 13 , it hooks up instantly after you follow the initial instructions, you simply cannot try to hook it up via Bluetooth like you would with android, you have to just make sure your Bluetooth is turned on but when you install the app you have to open up the app and then app settings, then you choose your device and set up within the app and set all your parameters and make your desired settings and then hit connect , it took me a couple tries to get it right but it was more my error than the device or app , so after I got it running smooth with the app it is the best device I’ve used so far and especially for the money , all in all you simply have to read the instructions well ( they work ) and set up and connect through the app and your iPhone won’t be a problem, it works just fine if you connect through the app and not have your head in your butt like I did initially and all the other bad iPhone reviews which were most likely human error like me , go for it , it’s a 5 star piece especially for $20

Little but powerful device.

Cannot connect to it via Bluetooth or WiFi on iOS. Doesn’t work. Lights up and that’s it.

I was hesitant on buying this but it ended up working out great.I have a wired scanner that works great to but this wireless one makes it so easy to scan a vehicle that has an ongoing issue that you are trying to work out.

Worked for little while - now Won’t connect - hot to touch and smells like burning

es económico pero funciona muy bien, baje varias app para conectarme y lee muy bien los datos del vehículo, además su plástico no es delgado ni chafa.

GMC Terrain 2011 - if scanner set all time in OBDII - You can see ECO mode - Turn ONIf you all time keep scanner in OBD II connector - scanner send (occasionally) command ECO mode - Turn ON.For your sefty, use scanner when you need only and better not use while driving if it's not necessary.I guess it can send more difficultes commands to your On-board computer and blocked something.But scanner work's good in usually mode.I write it, because i have one more such scanner (absolutely same but from other seller) and he has not such problems.
