I naturally have black hair, which I've previously pre-lightened to level 8/9 (a bright yellow) and a level 7 at my roots after one round of bleaching (which results in a orange/golden yellow shade) . I used this with a level 7 Igora Royal for my roots, to make it look more natural.It dyed my hair relatively even, except at the ends, which was basically a level 10 so it actually came out looking slightly darker/ashier than the middle of my hair. It was VERY ashy after my first application, but that fades away to a more natural blonde shade after a week or so ( which I was going for), and this is while I'm using purple shampoo & conditioner. All in all, pleased with the end results. The picture I included is about 3 weeks after I dyed it but the color fade wasn't too bad! I used about a half tube of each (7-00 and 8-00) and that was more than enough for my current hair length. I used this with schwarzkoft developer btw.

I have been using this product for over 20 years purchased through a salon distributor. For convenience, I tried purchasing on Amazon. I do not believe it’s the same product. The box is different, there is no seal, and the product does not cover the same way. It’s fine for a touch up but do not expect the same results as professional grade color.
