I enjoy playing with puzzle cubes. I was intrigued by the idea of a puzzle cube that leverages magnets. This easy is easy to spin around. It can corner cut at just about any angle. For a novice like me, it is almost too fast. When the cube nears the corners, the row snaps into place. The magnetic force is strong enough to align the cube, but weak enough to allow easy turning. One of the consequences of having such a wide range in corner cutting is that it is easy to twist the corners. Beyond the cube, it comes with tools for adjusting the tension in the puzzle cube. I found this to be a premium cube that I will use as my primary cube.

I didn't really know what to expect with this cube. I can only say that it is way beyond my capabilities. I might spend a little time researching, but all of the adjustments you can make are way way way different than my simple cubes of the 80's. The adjust tools and the cube overall seem cheap, but actually work well. I didn't quite understand the adjustments at first, but after some tinkering, it made sense. It just doesn't do me any good to rate how well the adjustments work because I'll never have a sense (or need) to fine tune like the instructions show. I can still solve it the old traditional way though!
