LEGO Forest Police Station Building and Construction Set

Got the set for a 7 year old, and he loved it, and built it independantly quite quickly.There are lots of sub-parts to build - helicopter, police van, buggy, and the station itself, so it really lends itsself to being played with. Also there are lots of really great details. I loved the way the criminal can excape the jail by bursting through the letter box!The price on Amazon does seem to fluctuate quite widely - suggest you wait til it is available at a good price - I think I paid £30-35, but then it is well worht the money. Also is in a huge box - important for any gift!!!!

From our ten year old:"I got this for Christmas and couldn't be more happy. It is worth the building time and the characters are great. The only problem is the split manual for bags 4 and 5, it was a bit of a problem but a minor one. Everything in this kit has something special, the barrier is great, everything is great. A recommendation for 8+ or 5+ with adult help"I'd add that there are some really nice touches, the police office has some great little items, computer screen and coffee machine. The bear is a nice shape and posable, we had him rearing up at the tree one of the robbers was hiding in.This kit has been reduced on Amazon to 40% of the RRP so it is worth checking prices before buying.

We bought this for our sons 4th birthday he's very into his lego and wants to be just the same as his 5 year old brother. Clearly he's too little to sit there and build it so that's where mummy comes in! It was easy to follow the instructions and is fairly sturdy when built so he can happily play with it. It was reduced when I bought this which made it excellent value for money too.Although my son is only 4 it nice to give him. Present he knows he has to be. Bit more careful with and before I know it he'll be taking it apart and rebuilding it.

As usual with Lego its well made and enables my kids to roleplay with the set, only 1 downside i would say is the price of the set. We bought this on special offer and was quite surprised how small it all looked once set up and were happy we didnt pay the £70 price tag that it usually has, so my advice...........wait until a price drop!

As my y year old son is Lego mad and he wanted this and the large Lego police station I was a bit worried that it would be police station over-kill but in fact they are very different and this has got all sorts of extras such as the bear, the trees, a quad bike, a very cute helicopter etc, that make this set great fun.I think we got it at a reduced price, not sure what it is normally, but my son loves it and plays with it all the time alongside his bigger, main police station, playing 'town and country' police stations. He's very happy with it.

My nephew and I are great Lego builders and this does not fail. The details, right down to the little cup in the Police Officers office, are great fun. You get a lot of Lego and building it all takes a few hours, so is great for keeping little minds and hands busy for hours. It's a great buy.

We were so lucky to find this at the excellent price of £35 on Black Friday! My son had been talking about it for months and has not stopped playing with it since Christmas day. He put it together in no time and even his big brother and grandma have joined in the fun of arresting the baddies and putting them in jail. Would recommend to any true Lego City fan!

My 6 year old loves it - but managed to build it and the vehicles pretty quickly - could have been bigger for the money...
