Lawn Spreader with 25-Litre Capacity & Adjustable Spread Rate, Robust Grit Spreader with Durable Steel Frame & Large Wheels for Easy Handling, Ideal Grass Seed, Fertiliser & Salt Spreader

Needed to replace my old spreader as it wasn't handling the product I wanted to use. Ordered it and it came within a few days. Assembled easily in about 45mins with the exception of the axle end covers which were too tight a fit. Picked up the box it came in and took out the packing, in the bottom of the box were two triangular pieces of black plastic. Taking a look at the spreader I find they have broken off the rotary spreader disc, I think the damage was caused by the wheels shifting in transit. Contacted the supplier and they sent me replacement parts within a few days.Once the new parts were fitted I was able to use it to treat the lawn with Mobacter. The lawn is approx 100m2 and needed to be treated at the rate of 100gms per sq mtr, this meant 10kg was the needed amount. The spreader was full with half the amount needed, I guessed that an aperture setting of about 4 would be about right so off I went at that setting. When the hopper of the spreader was empty I had covered about 60% of the lawn, I refilled the hopper and completed the remaining area. This left about 2/3rds of the Mobacter in the hopper so to complete the treatment I now crossed the lawn at right angles to my first direction walking faster to cover the lawn before the material ran out.To conclude, a nice machine, well made and reasonably robust if you look after it. Worked perfectly with Mobacter spreading it very evenly, setting 4 was about right allowing me to treat the lawn in two directions rather than in one. Despite initial problems the supplier was first class in their in their response acting quickly to supply new parts. Well-done and many thanks.

Good product. Not difficult to assemble in spite of the worst instructions ever - looked like some Chinese worker was sent off to the local post office to use their oldest photocopier and even then the copy wasn't straight. Content of instructions almost incompressible, even given that they were only pictures, no words. Product itself works well and the control on the 'handle bars' to adjust the amount of fertiliser being fed is effective.

Really easy to put together and simple to use

I agree with those reviewers who commented on the difficulty of assembling the spreader. The drawings are very confusing. We finally finished after about 3 hours but the result is slightly lopsided. It seems as though it will work, so we'll keep our fingers crossed

Best spreader I have ever purchased and used on my lawn.

Assembly was most difficult, spent two, mornings doing this. Whilst securing the bucket in the early stages of assembly the screws cut through the relatively soft plastic and a little ingenuity was required to do a Heath Robinson repair. A few written comments in the instructions would have prevented this! It was bought mainly to spread salt but neither rock salt nor sandy salt would go through the holes to distribute as these products are damp. We also tried to use it for spreading granular fertiliser on the lawn, the only way to get the granules to fall through the holes was to jolt the spreader whilst pushing it. It was totally unfit for the purpose that we had hoped.

Never seen and had a product with such poor assembly instruction. Even at the end it is working but only because I had to modify parts. Very difficult to return and that should also be taken into consideration when ordering It is cheaper than some competitors for a reason that came too clear to me after purchasing. Can not recommend this product.

Brilliant purchase, and easy to assemble, once you lay everything out and do a dry run first..Easy to operate, and very portable, with side mounted lever for setting amount of contents to spill out...Can be used for grit / salt for slippery paths and yards ... or ... for distributing fertilizer or grass seed etc...110% Highly recommended...

Ottimo per concime, mentre per sementi e o sabbia (che rimane umida) fatica molto, una cosa che avrei fatto è quella di mettere una protezione nella parte posteriore dello spargitore per evitare di avere concime sulle gambe, nulla che si possa risolvere con un po’ di manualità
