Awesome personal cooler

I am quite disappointed in this purchase. The air output even at max force can only be felt about 18 inches away from the unit. The water tank needs to be filled VERY frequently and even at the lowest setting I can only get the tank to hold out for 4 hours, a quarter of what is promised. Running on the max setting, the unit needs to be filled about every 90 minutes. I do not feel like I got what was promised. This unit might useful if you were sitting at a desk and had the unit pointing right at you 18 inches away. It is really a very weak powered fan. If you want it for anything other than that, you will be sorely disappointed.

I purchased this larger Arctic air having had the original and been happy with it. I don't think this larger more expensive model works any better than the smaller one. It is much harder to fill than the original. If you are not careful during the filling process the water runs right out the front of the fins. I wish I had just stuck with buying a second of the original Arctic air cube. 😔

This one is powerful and cools

Claimed it to be quiet, however that doesn't sound quiet which was the whole point really in getting this, quiet and cool and small. For an xl I thought it would be a tiny bit bigger. We'll see how well I can sleep with it.

This does not cool at all. Even with ice cold water or ice cubes. This is not even a desk fan, puts out No cool air at all. Was not worth the money. Also advertised is so misleading, not arctic or cool like air conditioner.

The product has a mild cooling effect when you are in the direct path - I experienced this turning on and off the "cool" mode. It won't cool your room, but it does at least help a single part of your body.The really bad thing about this product is the fan. It's a basic 2-wire computer fan that's attached inside and speed is varied by voltage change. The fan is the absolute worst noise I have ever heard from a fan, and I could not fall asleep naturally while I could hear the fan.If I had to make this product work for me, I would disassemble it and replace the fan with a computer fan that did not make an absurd amount of noise. Product earned 1 star from me for its actual cooling performance, which did exist but was not revolutionary. I returned this item.

This product is exactly as advertised - I bought it for a gift as friend has heart condition and gets overly warm, she has thanked me over and over as this works so well that she is now comfortable all the time. I recommend this highly - it is small, light weight, can go room to room or stay exactly where you need it most.
