cheap and cheerful but they work!
Simply a long, angled plastic bag. But I've used them on Trips out the the Farne Islands to photograph sea birds and seals and they worked a treat. There are better made, but much more expensive camera protectors out there, but this is all you need for the odd occasion when you need that additional protection.

It does the job.
It perhaps a little expensive for what it is - essentially a tough plastic bag slightly tailed for a camera, but having said that it was very useful for my trip and I would buy it again. If you need to shield your kit from the rain but don't have much to spend then I would recommend this.

Protects the camera in bad weather
I bought the bigger size, which I probably didn't need but did the job well. Best to match up the size with your camera kit.

Five Stars
Cheap as chips and works brilliantly. Lasts about 10 uses. Have used them for 2 years.

Rain Protection
A day out in heavy drizzle in Norfolk taking photos of seals on the beach. Protection was clumsy but adequate for a really miserable day.

For sports Photography these are amazingly good!
I had cause for the first time to use these yesterday. First let me point out that I am a Sports photographer so have three cameras on the go that I swap between at Football matches.Previously I have bought a expensive rain covers that have hand holes on either side, and are made of thick material. Unfortunately this takes too long to swap into when you need to change which camera your using as I do at sports events. When I used these two rain covers, I didn't use them as per the packaging suggestion. With the eye piece through the hole. As you can see in the photo. I did the same on my second camera, this allowed me to change cameras almost instantly and not miss any shots. The proper rain cover with the hand holes cost me time as I thread my hands in, take hold of the camera and prepared to shoot. You get 2 for under a tenner as well! They kept the rain out, as they should, and this was not just drizzle but proper rain as the second picture shows I hope. For landscape or genres where the camera is going to be fixed, or your only using one camera, then these may well not be the best, something more durable with the hand holes etc is likely better suited! But for Sports, awesome.JulesJules
