I have approximately 100 hooks, I started a blanket with a 5 m hook n criticised the wool/yarn because the hook was snagging, so I switched to the Clover As soon as it arrived, WOW what a massive difference , the hook glides through like a hot knife through butter, will only be using these from now on, definitely recommend them

Love the feel of these crochet hooks just wish they were cheaper.

I bought these some time ago, and after reading the review written by somebody wishing they were cheaper I thought I would mention there is also a similar set for about half the price, minus the 3.75mm size. I bought this set to get the 3.75mm hook, as well as the rest. You can now buy the 3.75mm on its own. When I was looking for this size, the only way I could get it was by buying this set. This is aimed at the American market as they are not only marked with the millimetre size but also the American letter size. There is a set you can buy aimed at the European market which are not marked with the American sizing, however, I find these very useful as I use a lot of American patterns. Also for amigurumi the 3.75mm, for me, is invaluable. I had a love hate relationship with many brands (loved the crochet, hated the hooks) before stumbling upon these. I can now crochet with no discomfort. I found all steel hooks used to cramp up my hand. I use the knife hold and I don't have to grip the hook with any effort at all. I also found that the metal hooks with the sizing and often the brand embossed on the centre flat portion would rub after a short time. I have not looked back since I started using the Clover Amour hooks. The only exception, was when I was crocheting with a black fine bouclé yarn, and for this I used a Crochet Lite, a hook with integral light.

Brilliant hooks worth the extra money

I am only a beginner, so really trying to adapt to this craft fingers X I will manage to achieve what I want. The hooks seem nice and comfortable to hold, and sturdy.
