Quick to get started and very small
The product has turned out to be exactly as described and so tiny! The over the air update of firmware and OS install are quite an impressive experience. The Ubuntu distribution is great out of the box, I have not tried other Linux flavors, expecting there may be device driver items to address, but the out of the box to up and running was quite good.As with any quick-start Linux distribution, there are items to address security wise, such as the default account / password, turning on the Firewall, creating a non-Admin user for your Day to Day work, but for the target audience of a Maker, your up and going without the need for an external PC or Laptop.

Be Very Careful Buying From Them
I figured out what was wrong with these guys. They REQUIRE a proprietary 12v 24-30W USB-c power supply. It is not available in the United States. Without the proprietary psu you will not be able to use any add ons. I tried using numerous psu and I cannot get any of the components to power let alone the board. I can get the board powered fine but once I add on any component the board cannot power. I have used psu's that have anywhere from 10W to 100W. It is the board itself must have their psu.I went to their documentation and it is empty. The info in there is barely readable and it skims the topic. So if you want to enable a dt overlay or make the camera or screen work there is no info on it.If you go to their site you will see that they do not separate the components. It is impossible to tell what you can use. The site is really poorly laid out. Again it provides no good information on how to use the board. Raspberry pi, udoo, latte panda are all much better. They include the power supply and have complete docs. well udoo was slim. This board is not a good buy. Stick to a device that you know will work.

The KHADAS Edge2 Pro delivers a vanilla Android experience
The KHADAS Edge2 Pro device boasts impressive speed, surpassing the Nvidia Shield and other Android boxes/SBCs. However, its advantages largely stop there. Dolby Vision is absent, and HDR performance is poor. The device also suffers from bugs. Furthermore, some apps, like Real Racing 3, require a touchscreen for age verification.Despite its shortcomings, the KHADAS Edge2 Pro offers impressive functionality and versatility, making it suitable for work and digital signage. The Edge2 Pro is not desktop ready. It lacks much needed and important gaming and streaming functions. it excels in digital signage and work applications. Pairing it with a touchscreen could enhance the experience, despite the device's relatively high price. This device is hindered by the absence of Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and Widevine L1 support. While Widevine DRM itself is free to license, manufacturers must undergo a certification process for implementation. Integrating Dolby Vision on Android usually incurs licensing fees (though the exact amount is undisclosed, the royalty cost for a TV is less than $3); Dolby Atmos also presents a cost for developers, which KHADAS should consider. Furthermore, the device requires improved game controller support. Finally, the complexity of the KHADAS platform and lack of a dedicated Android desktop UI pose challenges for developers, making the adaptation process to desktop monitors extremely difficult. For users seeking a seamless "plug-and-play" Android experience for high-quality streaming, audio, and gaming, the KHADAS Edge2 Pro falls short. A DEX-like environment offers a more polished solution, significantly outperforming alternatives like the Nvidia Shield and Blue Stacks, especially when using a high-end Samsung device. For some, the KHADAS's capabilities may suffice, but a DEX-like system offers a more complete and user-friendly experience.

High quality product and Very Responsive Customer Service
Khadas as as a whole has an extensive portfolio of consumer-oriented SBCs that address the needs of a growing niche market. The technical assistance and customer service is excellent, and their attention to detail in their product development is unquestionable.

First one is defective - freezes at OOWOW screen on boot.
Out of the box it loads the OOWOW beta splash screen and freezes, booting off of an external USB stick with the OOWOW image also freezes. Need it for work so ordered a second one. If you are looking for a reliable product, perhaps consider another board. I'll update this review once the second board arrives.

This is a BETA product
I got this product to play 8Kp60. On Android 12, this card plays 8K60 but is not stable. I hope they update their Android OS.On Ubuntu, I can decode 8Kp60 but cannot display it, The SW uses Gstreamer, which is OK for me, but the components are glitchy. So it is impossible to design a product yet with this box.I like the passion behind this effort. It is encouraging; I will give a 5 start when the SW allows me to design the product I want to produce.

Super thin design. Super performance
This board with its heatsink + fan is powerful and compact. I love the integrated OS loader. After testing this board I sold my RK3588S based boards from firefly and SeeYouToo. Those were great boards too. But this one is better in my opinion.
