Loved this, great to be part of the journey! The recipes are great- I am not sure if I am up to it.Recently dined at his restaurant in Napa. PRESS. It was amazing, he is really doing very special things there.But regarding the book- it’s beautifully done.

I love learning new things and this beautiful book took me on an adventure into a world I knew nothing about! It has sparked my interest in the culinary world and has made me want to up my dining out budget just to experience the flavors! Even though I already knew the outcome of the competition, Phillip Tessier's incredible writing kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what would happen. This is just a great read and a gorgeous book!

This book covers so much and is hard to put down. Having the engaging and exciting narration of the Bocuse D'Or training & event by the author as well as the section of recipes is perfect blend. It is so much more than a cookbook. Anyone interested in pursuing excellence in life regardless of their career path needs to read this book!

Supporting the author who is a friend that lived in NY before relocating to CA. Have had the pleasure of trying his cooking, both at home & then when he worked @ Per Se, & am not surprised he has made it where he is now. Phil is an amazing chef & an even nicer person.
