Game Changer
To me, this is the next step in the evolutionary process of drive trains. The ability to shift under a load is a big step up for me and others I spoke to, who ride this system. Going from a drop to a climb and being able to shift under a load is a game changer, especially where there is little to no time to spare.I Love this new system.

SRAM Eagle Transmission is Over-Engineered and not better than Eagle AXS
SRAM indicates that you can apply power while shifting. Great. This is the opposite of how Eagle AXS and all other major-brands before them but, maybe this is the next step in bike shifting.Usually, you shift and wait until it's done shifting THEN you apply power but with Transmission, their main selling point is shifting under power but it doesn't work well if you DON'T shift under power, which is an extremely difficult habit to overcome after 30 years of racing. The system depends on your applying power during shifting, otherwise, it's slow and sometimes doesn't even shift for a few pedal strokes, despite my extensive .2mm micro-adjustments.It's really frustrating when I'm trying to race or train how badly the system works, despite all the design, engineering and extensive testing I'm sure they've done. It just doesn't work well and I may switch back to AXS Eagle, which is a faster and more precise shifting setup.Maybe it's me but such expensive gear should work better than this.I've tried to adjust to this but even so, shifting is problematic on a 22 Trek Super Caliber with UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) frame, a clean setup and micro-adjustments out the wazoo.Really disappointed b/c it is a hindrance when I'm trying to fly down a trail.
