So many of these covers for Bose QC charging cases have issues with lid not being secure. Design with this one has is VERY secure. Metal clip insures it stays closed. Lid is hinged on, so it can't pop off. Cover is sturdy and should give extra protection if dropped -- haven't dropped mine yet to test. It adds bulk to a case that's already uncommonly large, but they all do. Very happy with this product. Some reviewers have said the metal clip is hard to release -- I haven't had a problem with it -- just slide fingernail under to pop loose. Only one I've seen that didn't have design flaws and provides secure protection I wanted.

I broke the hinge for the lid on my charging case and checked into replacing it. 99 bucks for a new one, but mine still worked fine - the only issue is the lid was now held on with a piece of electrical tape. This case is a perfect solution. Saved me a bunch of $$ and provides added protection. Win win.

The locking method is a great way to keep it secure. If it’s not locked it will pop open often. Don’t use the silicone hook area for main holding because it will break. Only slightly bigger than case.

The hinge broke on my wife's earbud case and I didn't want to pay $100 for a new one. I purchased this case and put some adhesive tack on the top of the old case's lid and secured it inside the lid of this new case. It fits perfectly and when you close this case it charges just as expected. Now she has a secure, protected case and it actually works out better because she just opens this case's lid and can access her earbuds immediately.What I guess I'm saying is that it might be worth breaking the hinge on your OEM case and putting the whole thing inside this bad boy.Do not follow my advice.But seriously, if your hinge is broken (and the way these things are made, chances are it will be at some point) just pick up this case and you'll be good as new.

Seems to work as advertised, minus the ability to hang it from anything.This is a pocket or pack item only. DO NOT use the silicone loop provided as it will rip easily.This is a serious design flaw they could not have missed, yet they advertise and provide a key ring, D Ring and lanyard. Just to entice you to loose your very expensive ear gear... Don't use it. When the silicone loop broke, I just snipped it off with a scissors so it wouldn't be sticking out. I recommend you cut it off as soon as you get it. Not at all durable for its intended use. Worthless and dangerous.The only reason I'm not returning the case is that it duel locks easily, seems easy to open and not too bulky for my pocket, which are typically cargo pockets. This may be too bulky for anyone who wears tighter clothing.

I am using this case for the Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra earbuds. Before purchasing, I looked at many cases and ultimately decided on this case. All the other hard cases has the case lid attached to the Bose case with an adhesive sticker. If the adhesive sticker fails, the lid will fall off. Although many of those cases looked nice, the adhesive lid was a deal breaker. With that said, this case looks and feels really nice in the hand and has a silky feeling, which makes it easy to grip. The right (latching) side will snap and lock shut. You can open this case by pressing the latch button, and it popps open by means of a spring hinge. Also, the latch has a metal safety clasp that will keep it shut even if you drop it. The case also comes with a rope lanyard and a carribeaner. The case has a small hole on the front so you can see the case indicator light. Also, my Bose earbuds and case are light blue color and looks really good in this black protective case. I am really pleased with this purchase.

Bought this one month back. Its latch which connects to key chain compromised which I lost my bose Bluetooth worth. Happened after 30 days I bought it.

Great protection case only one I've seen with a spring loaded lock and a manual metal latch that goes over the lock. Already drop it a few times and nothing wrong with ear buds. Best case I've seen anywhere. Recommend getting it to anyone who has Bose obsidian 2 earbuds it's worth it. Small amount to pay to protect $300.00 earbuds. Case is less than $20.00
